Jonathan sat at the edge of his seat as he watched as the ball hit the bar for the third time, the crowd had kept their energy as they still cheered on their home players to do their best. The scoreboard was nil-nil and the clock was at the 90th minute mark, Arsenal needed a goal or they would lose their derby match against Chelsea in an FA cup final. When Arsenal was awarded a penalty due to the foul committed by the Chelsea's defender, Jonathan's dad bit his fingers and gripped the scarf around his neck tightly.Thierry Henry was Mr.Joseph best player, he adored his skill of play. Thierry Henry stepped up and moved away from the ball taking a deep breath as he waited for the sound of the referee's whistle, the whole Stamford bridge stadium fell silent as they waited for the free kick to be taken, the ball flew into the net and Jonathan's father, Mr. Joseph hugged his son as they both shouted on top of their voices. Football was the only thing they seemed both agreed on, it was only thing that made Mr.Joseph happy so Jonathan always attended the games because he liked being around his father whenever Arsenal had a match, the other times when they weren't cheering their team up, they would always be at each other's throats.

The whole stadium was filled with joy and Arsenal won the match, they carried the FA cup at the end of the match. After the match the gunners (Arsenal fans) left the stadium singing their club anthem as they walked out of the stadium to the streets of London, Jonathan caught a glispe of a girl just his age coming out from the stadium with her dad, she was dark in complexion and had curly hair. The Chelsea fans had been heart broken because their team had just lost, therefore most of their fans were silent as they exited the stadium. Mr.Joseph made a joke as he said,"Better luck next time you bunch of lossers". The dark girl that Jonathan had noticed was Amada, a british Nigerian and her father was Nathan, a Benin man with a short temper, he heard what Mr. Joseph had just said and he threw a bottle water can at him, before too long they got into a fight and a riot brought out between the fans of the opposing clubs. Jonathan was alone in the chaos and he tried to find safety in the midst of the madness, he saw Amada trying to get away too, so he went towards her and grabbed her by her hands as they both found a safe place away from the chaos. They both breathed heavily as they were now in an alley way where they seemed to be alone, they both stared at each other and burst into laughter. Amada said,"Your dad is trouble", Jonathan replied,"I can say the same for your father too". He noticed that they kept on staring at each other till she cleared her throat and stretched out her hand for a shake, "I'm Amada", she said not removing her gaze from his eyes, he shook her hand and said,"Jonathan".

During the course of the next few weeks, Jonathan had been attending all Chelsea premier league matches in hopes to meet Amada again, as he had forgotten to collect her number the last time they met. He would leave just before the end of the game and stand in front of the stadium with hopes to spot her among the crowd, his friends made fun of him and teased him that maybe Amada was just a figure of his imagination. Jonathan would become so relentless and restless till he decided to give up and go out with his friends to house party in Manchester to get her out of his system. On the dance floor he danced like somebody that had too much to drink then he felt a light tap on his shoulder, he could believe his eyes, it was Amada. This had to be a miracle, she had on a white T-shirt and high waist jeans and she had a smile on her face because she had watching him dance and he wasn't really a good dancer. They both danced till they were tired then she invited him to the roof of the building to share a blunt she had in her pocket.

Jonathan coughed as he took a puff of the blunt and she laughed. She said,"How is your troublesome dad?" Jonathan made a face as he didn’t really like being asked about his father, he always avoided having a conversation about him because it changed his mood, so he defaultly changed the topic before she could ask further. He didn't know wherther it was the marijuana or the person he was with, because he laughed on top of his voices as they chatted for hours without noticing that the party had ended. They walked back home together and they stopped at Jonathan's house because he didn’t leave far from where the party was held at, he stared at Amada with eyes full of passion and dragged her closer then he planted a kiss on her lips. He then laughed as he said,"Can you give me your number because I don't think I would be able to find you if I lost you again". Amada chuckled as she said,"Seek and ye shall find". She opend her hands and he gave his phone to her as she typed her number.

Jonathan entered the house to meet his dad frowning as he took a sip of his beer, he wanted to walk away but his father raised his hands signaling him to stand where he was. Mr.Joseph stood up and walked to his son at end of the room, he then asked,"Isn't that the daughter of that bloody Chelsea fan from the stadium the other day?" Jonathan nodded in approval, his father then laughed as he said,"I don't want you near her again, her father is the fool that gave me a black eye." Jonathan wanted to speak up, but his dad came to close to his face and raised his hand threatening to hit him, if he made a sound. Jonathan didn't care much of his dad's approval but he wanted to repay the relationship he had with his father for the sake of his mother that had died at child birth so he came up with a plan to win him over. The upper week Arsenal had a match against Chelsea and Mr.Joseph had bought tickets for him and Jonathan, before hand Jonathan had messaged Thierry Herny on Facebook and asked him for a favour, it was clearly a long shot but he just asked anyway. Mr.Joseph and Jonathan sat at the other end of the stadium and he could see that Amada was also in attendance with her father, the match was tough but Arsenal managed to score a goal from Thierry Henry that celebrated by going to the stands and raising up his Jersey to a white shirt he wore underneath that said,"Amada would you be my girlfriend?". The crowd screamed as the stadium camera was on Amada and Jonathan, their faces appeared on the big screen, she laughed and said yes. Mr.Joseph & Mr. Nathan stared at their children in amazement.

The End.
