Beautifully said, Amber 🥰 If you know our story, we had only just the week before told our social worker that we were redefining the rules of engagement. We no longer wanted to be competing against other adopters for a child and being knocked out at the final hurdle because of lack of experience etc. If they were interested in us as an adopting couple, they needed to treat us with consideration, compassion, and respect.
