The sun and the moon

The moon and the sun look at each other with passion every morning, but no matter how hard they try, only their rays reach to caress the parallelism of the moon. That remained to wait, however, the sun does not break its routine and does not go for it. The moon does not wait long in the firmament, little by little it will disappear for months and its countenance will change every night.
It will go from the new moon fading from the eyes of the sky until it will appear in portions in the crescent quarter and return in love to see the Sun, but the day star does not even flinch before the changes of its nocturnal partner. It continues patiently waiting for her at dawn.

The daytime star tries to maintain a balanced posture. Although clouds often make it difficult to see their beloved, it never changes their position. It continues to rise in the east and hides in the west, there is no modification to its routine, even though it's beloved gets fed up. But the sun maintains his condemnation because he knows of the misfortune that will befall his men if he comes too close to his mistress. The zenithal arc that originates at dawn is the perfect point to pass his luminous hands over the moon, which in the form of particles and waves of light impact the crust of the moon and the earth.

The lady of the night does not understand, because despite the centuries and millennia he does not approach her, despite her desire to have him more than a few eclipses. She wishes to roll through the celestial vault for eternity together, she is not satisfied with a few moments, she wants all his attention.
But they are condemned for eternity to be separated in the distance, to see each other only at sunrises and sunsets, to meet at eclipses, but never to fly together. Their love, despite the setbacks both of them, endures. But no one knows how long this relationship will last, nor how long the moon will resist waiting for the sun to join her and bring the extermination of the earth, which acts as an intermediary in this curse.

While they perform their courtship above the clouds, the earth observes them from below, from the middle of everything. The earth knows that it is the cause of the separation of the two lovers, she and her progeny that dwell within her. No matter where the meeting of the two special beings takes place, she will be there watching that the arc of circumference between the two does not diminish more than allowed. She is not a judge, nor is she jealous of the love that the sun and moon possess. She is simply there to protect the creatures that roam without understanding the complexity of the gravitational attraction that exists in that cosmic love, and that not even the earth knows when it was conceived.
