On that fateful night, something happened in Aroma that caused the whole city to panic. When my grandmother told me about this story, I, myself, felt a little scared.
Grandma, "It was such an incident that I was afraid to travel on buses late at night after that incident."

After listening to my grandmother's story, I wanted to check old newspapers, but it seemed really too scary.

Grandma further said, "The story spread like wildfire across the city, and many news outlets still cite it."
What was this suspenseful story about? She often tells me what happened that night. Now I know was right!
Granma continued, "This mysterious incident happened about two decades ago when an old man and a young man were waiting for the last bus on Route 230 on a cold winter night. They were talking normally, and the road seemed completely deserted because it was very cold at that time of the night. Apparently, it was the month of November, so the road was partially covered by light fog. Finally, the bus on Route 230 arrived at its scheduled time. "
"Tell me more, grandma."
"What happened after that was horrifying. After the bus stopped, the old man and the youth boarded the bus. The bus was completely empty, as there were no other passengers. There was no one else on this bus except the driver and conductor. The boy was sitting in the front row near the driver's seat while the old man was sitting in the middle."
I just shuddered to hear her!
But she did not stop, "As the bus moved forward, they saw three people standing on the road in the headlights of the bus, waving their hands to stop the bus. But that was not a regular bus stop, so the driver did not stop the bus. The bus traveled a small distance and then stopped. The elderly man saw the shadows of three people from the window. All three boarded the bus. The light was dim, so he could not see their faces."
"That was strange, grandma, but no one asked the reason why the driver stopped the bus?"
I am not sure, "But the old man saw that two men were supporting the third, whose head was bowed. He thought, maybe the person sitting in the middle was drunk. The bus started and picked up speed."

"Suddenly, the old man got up from his seat and went to the young man on the moving bus. The old man started an argument with the young man who was sitting in the front seat of the bus. It was the same guy who was with him at the stop where they had boarded the bus. The old man misbehaved so much with that boy that he was filled with anger and a scuffle broke out."
Grandma kept saying, "In such a situation, the driver stopped the bus, and the conductor ordered them to leave immediately. The driver and conductor left both of them midway. After taking off the bus, the old man became calm, and then the boy asked him the reason for the irreconcilable quarrel. The old man said, "Son, I do not quarrel with anyone, but I have saved your life."
The boy could not get him, so he looked at him questioningly.
The old man further said that the three people you saw on the bus had no legs and were floating in the air. The boy felt very scared after hearing this. They immediately walked to the nearest police station and passed on the information.
Grandma continued, "However, nothing happened after they reported the incident because the police believed they were under the influence of something toxic. Both then reached another police station and told the story, but with the same result. This time, the police officer thought both of them were mad."
Then they both quietly left for their respective homes. The news that appeared in the next day’s newspaper blew the senses of the police officers on duty. Actually, the company whose bus ran on that route claimed that their bus disappeared along with the driver and conductor.
Grandma stopped here and asked, "In such a situation, the question arises whether those three bodies were really those of the ghosts?"
I got up and went to the nearby library to ask for old newspapers. They showed me the room where the old newspapers were available. I found the rest of the story in the newspapers.
The next day, the police went and found the old man and the boy, who had come to them late the night before. Both of them repeated their stories to them and to the media in the same words, what they had told the police and whatever they knew about the bus.
The bus was found the next day in a nearby city. The police got information about a bus accident. It was the same bus that the old man and the boy had told them about. The bus was pulled out of the water, which had become wracked. They found the bodies of the driver and the conductor on the bus, and three badly decomposed bodies were found in the middle of the bus.
The forensic team was stunned because they thought dead bodies could not decompose so much in 48 hours. The dead bodies of the driver and conductor were still in the initial stages of decomposing, but the other three dead bodies were too old.
Not only this, when the police investigated the bus, its fuel tank was full of water and not diesel. This incident shook the police department, as there was no scientific fact in any of the facts they detected. The old man and the boy knew the entire story, so they believed every word of it.
The most horrifying fact was that the bus was found in a river 100 kilometers ahead of its last scheduled stop in another city called Aravalli. Finally, the bus authority said there was not enough fuel in the bus tank to cover a distance of 100 km as it was a city service on its last trip.
