Eduardo is a young man of 30 years old, since he was a child he dreamed of being a writer and with only 30 years old he had written 3 small unpublished books, he began to write his 4 books, he fell into the vice of smoking due to a stress of not sleeping enough.
When several months had passed, from smoking 3 cigarettes a day, he started to smoke a pack and a half of cigarettes, his appearance began to defend, and he looked a little older, because of excessive smoking, he became more and more dependent on cigarettes and coffee and most of his time he lived locked up in his house, he only went out once a month, to go to the supermarket to buy food, coffee and enough cigarettes to last the whole month.
After a year of living this way, he began to cough a little and his voice became hoarse, but Eduardo did not pay enough attention to it and continued living as he had been, little by little he began to decline more, in one of the exhaust he did to get supplies, he met a young woman named Ruth, she is a little younger than him and intellectual.
The young Ruth had already read one of his books and when she met Eduardo she was captivated by him, and they exchanged their phone number to be in contact and try to arrange an outing to eat and talk a little, Eduardo found it very interesting to have an outing with Ruth to see if he could get a little more inspiration for his book.
Two days after meeting Ruth and being captivated by her beauty and the sympathy that she emanated, Eduardo couldn't stop thinking about her and without realizing it, he fell in love with her as time went by and after several outings they had where they both felt comfortable with each other.
One day, Eduardo calls and invites Ruth to dinner at his house. And she replies, -Of course I accept, and it would be a pleasure to have dinner with you. After giving her the time and address of where he lived, he proceeds to hang up the call, to start making all the preparations for dinner with Ruth, he buys flowers to decorate the dining room a little more.
Several days have passed and Eduardo asks Ruth to be his girlfriend and if she would like to move in with him, she replies with a smile that she accepts to be his girlfriend and that she would like to live with him, the next day Ruth brings her belongings to Eduardo's house.
2 months later Eduardo and Ruth decide to get married by civil marriage, time has passed since they got married by civil marriage, when Eduardo begins to make some paperwork to put everything in her name.
After 2 years of marriage Eduardo began to speak hoarser and with a cough that was not cured with anything, Ruth asked Eduardo to visit a doctor to check him, since it is not very usual that the voice became hoarse without forcing it and that the cough did not go away, but Eduardo persuaded her to go to the doctor.
Time went by and each time Eduardo's voice became hoarser, and he could hardly be understood, and he coughed more than before, Ruth began to worry, she asked Eduardo again to go to the doctor to see what was happening to him, but he did not want to go, although Eduardo did notice that he was getting more and more tired and that his voice hurt a little more, but he did not tell Ruth what he was feeling. Eduardo thought about making an exhaust to calm down a little, but he loved Ruth so much that he didn't do it.
One year later, Ruth noticed that Eduardo was getting exhaust and in pain, she asked Eduardo again to go to the doctor to have some tests done, Ruth insisted so much that Eduardo agreed to go with her for the necessary tests.
Two days later at about 7 in the morning, they left for a clinic to perform the tests, when they arrived to see the doctor they immediately sent him to perform all kinds of tests after having him checked, after performing all kinds of tests, the doctor discovered that Eduardo had cancer and was very advanced and that they could not do anything to save him, only a miracle would save him.
Ruth, when she found out that Eduardo had cancer, burst into tears and began to cry, since he was the man she loved, and she could not bear to see Eduardo die, every day she asked God to heal him, Eduardo, moved by Ruth, stopped smoking and began to change his life and to eat extremely healthy and also asked God to heal him.
They were asking God for healing for a little over a year and of course always during all this time they were visiting the doctor for studies, until finally God answered his plea and removed the cancer, Eduardo and Ruth realize after his doctor retested him, after that Eduardo decided to write a book called "From darkness to light" where he talks about how God saved him from cancer.
