The only thing that mattered to him was winning. It was his obsession, something he had to deal with since he was seven. Femi was induced from the cradle to always be on top. He had no other option than to be at the top. To him, no other of his peers was better than him. What could have had him come out to antagonise the results of his History assessment could be serious.

His parents were perfectionists and he could feel his traits were from them. It was no surprise he was the best in all the subjects in his school and every field he found himself in.

Pascal was quite selective. When he was going to make a choice of whom to marry, it took over two years to settle with Lucy.

First, Maria was the lady he had crushed on. Few weeks into the relationship, Pascal noticed that she has a slight mouth odour. He wasn't ready ro manage it, not for a moment. When he confronted Maria with the matter, she said it wasn't a big issue. Despite that she had a slim body structure and contour in the right places, Pascal was ready to let go.

Bad breath is something that needs medical attention and if Maria feels less concerned about seeking medical attention, Pascal thought she would never settle down with such a woman.

It wasn't long after Maria and Pascal parted ways that Debbie came into Pascal's life. She was quite a humane and disciplined lady. She has a good career in real estate in the United Arab Emirate and manages the lofty home scheme in the United kingdom.

Debbie and Pascal met at Bisi's book launch and before anyone could sigh, they had started dating. There wasn't any issue of principle between them except that Debbie is a talkative.

She could talk all day without a break. Perhaps she learned to talk as a market who had to convince customers to buy property. But that was a problem.with Pascal. He knew that Debbie is inseparable from talking. So, he just asked that the relationship come to an end.

As a tall handsome dude, he gets attracted to ladies of class in Ontario or any other place he gets.
During the Easter break of the following year that he broke up with Debbie, Pascal took to working out in the morning. He does this twice a week. It was during the morning work that he noticed Lucy. She is so perfectly built. She had the right kind of eyeball, detention, smile and walk a man could crush on.

The young man decided to walk up to Lucy while she was jogging across the Carter bridge. She was wearing an earbud, perhaps listening to some romantic music as Pascal jogged close to draw her attention.
She first smiled at him then snubbed, looking straight into the pedestrian path. Pascal knew all these games and didn't relinquish his effort. At the end of the walk, Lucy looked him in the eyes with a gagged face.

You're such a pest. Won't you just give up.

Pascal seemed to be determined. He smiles back but with a face of someone pleading with the matron of the ICU ward of a general hospital to give him a space for treatment.

I am here because your nectar is made by bee instinct comb for your sweetness.

She shut up her ears and replayed the poetic power in his tone.

That's romantic. I crave for more.

Lucy said with her hand stretched out towards Pascal.

I am Lucy Lindelof. A nutritionist with the state medical research institute. Single but not searching.

This wowed Pascal as he introduced himself to her.

His poetic prowess won Lucy's heart and they became inseparable. She is just the kind of woman he had wanted all his life.

Together they made a family and Femi is their first child, taking after his father. He wants to get everything perfectly done. He has ruled as the king in Saint Agnes Memorial College for as long as he had been there.

It was no longer a surprise that Femi is the superstar in all subjects at St. Agnes. He wasn't liked by the brilliant JJCs or those who put on glasses all day.

Femi was a socialite. He was active in all school co-curricular activities. When it comes to debating programmes, he was the chief speaker and in the spelling bee, he represented the school.

He was perfect and every school girl's dream. He simply had no problem or nothing to worry about.

All that seemed to change when Iruka, an American returned stepped through the big black gate of St. Agnes memorial college.
