Dad I need a video camera for the holiday, Jimmy said to his father
Jimmy you're just nine, what do you need a video camera for? George asked Jimmy.
You know how much he loves to use your phone to make videos, a video camera as a gift for the holiday will be the best for our son... Jimmy's mum said to support her son.
George and his family was getting prepared to go spend the holiday at Richard, his father's mansion and Jimmy was more excited about it. George's brother, Frederick had also promised to be with them so they could have a full family holiday fun together.
They all got to Richard's place and were so happy to be together once again. Jimmy kept making unprofessional videos of every event that went on in the house excitedly.
Richard was an old rich man living happily with his family until they got married and left his mansion. Having them around once again gave him so much happiness.
The family planned out a get together at the beach, they got prepared and went to have fun at the beach. During the get together, Frederick said jokingly that he would be inheriting most of his father's wealth when he dies. Everyone laughed over it and they were so happy.
A week after his children arrival, Richard was found dead in his room by his son Frederick. There was a loud scream of cry from the mansion as they never expected Richard's death since he was strong and healthy before that day. Every family member began to suspect Frederick for the death of Richard.
Where were you at the time of Richard's death? The detective asked Frederick
I was having a cup of coffee at the dining and remembered I wanted to ask father a question so I went to his room and found him dead, Frederick answered.
You killed our father, stop denying it! George kept accusing Frederick.
The detectives decided to question everyone in the house at the time of Richard's death but no response gave good ground to point at a suspect. They concluded that Frederick would face trials since he was the prime suspect.
Frederick felt bad but couldn't find any way to clear his name so he allowed himself to be arrested. So many trials were made but the case seem to be going round with no good evidence to keep Frederick arrested. George felt sad that he wouldn't be able to bring justice to his father's death.
While everyone was busy trying to find out what really happened, Jimmy was by his father's side trying to show him his unprofessional videos he made. George was too distracted to watch his son's videos as he felt the videos were just some silly shots of activities in the house.
Jimmy kept crying and asking that they watch his videos and his mum decided to watch it instead. She found a video of Richard taking supposed sleeping pills before bedtime but he collapsed before lying on his bed and it happened after the house maid went out of his room.
How did you get this video Jimmy? She asked her son in awe.
I saw the maid sneaking into grandfather's room and I followed her, she switched his drugs and sneaked out again. I decided to make a video of it but ran away when I saw grandfather fell to the ground. I ran out to find you but I couldn't find you, I became scared... Jimmy explained what everyone had been wondering happened.
The maid got arrested after she confessed that she was jealous and allowed greed to take over her. She gave him drugs that would poison his system and took his sleeping pills away.
Frederick was freed from all charges, George begged for forgiveness and Frederick hugged their unlikely hero Jimmy and thanked George for getting his son a video camera.
