In life, we all have that one thing that gets us over excited and leaves us with memorable experiences. In the church's Calender, Advent Season is one which prepares everyone to the nativity of our Saviour. Before this begins the church decided to have a get-together to cool of the stress and enjoy the goodness that accompanies the eleven past months. Ada is a darling and highly spiritual sister in the Church who does all the church related activities with keen interest.
After all the bustles of the year from January till November. Her congregation found it a form of loyalty to all members of the parish to enjoy themselves and feel excited as we get into the nativity of the Savior.
The plan was to organize a get together party and also inform of a picnic for each society of the church. This idea left everyone excited, leaving the congregation in a joyful pandemonium.
After all the finality, each society started planning how they wanted the event to be. It began with five planning committees for each group. All preparations were for the D day.
Ada, being one of the event planners, worked really hard to make sure she gives out a quality job that will earn her appraisal and also add more beauty to her society.
It's Sunday and everyone is expected to go home after the Mass ends, put on their party dresses and come straight to Green Bay Pack, an open space for all sorts of events. Just after the final blesses was said by the officiating priest, a heavy outpour of rain started. This led to everyone sitting patiently for it to subside. To many, the rain spoiled their day, as the clothes they hung outside before leaving for church has been drenched.
The planning committees from each of the societies were all time praying for the rain to subside so the effort put into organizing the picnic won't be in vain. After an hour, the rain heard their cries and stopped. While everyone was leaving the church for home, a young boy said to his mum, "this is the last rain for the year and this rain welcomes harmattan season". This left everyone in laughter while some affirms to his point.
It's 4PM, time for the celebration to kick off. Although the rain had made the surrounding to be wet, it didn't stop the merryment. It began with soft music, which everyone got to dance, cheer up. After that, each society began presenting one show to another which lightened up the Party's appearance. The most amazing feature of the party's appearance is the lots of amazing flowers used to add beauty to the celebration.

It turned out to be a celebration to remember as there was exchange of gifts, fun games were played, many came with drinks, food and chops. Things were excessive and everyone went hope fully satisfied and with different gift items
The get-together gave the church a new appearance and more souls were converted through the generosity shown by the members to those outsiders who came to be part of the celebration. The rain which started like a setback to the event actually aid in their having a very cool picnic with no bit of sweat on anyone's forehead.
