It is about how the passengers get on the "enchanted" train where, as if by magic, the conflicts of the different seasons of life are resolved.

It was 1934, in the city of Denver, U.S.A., a railroad route was inaugurated, so longed for by its inhabitants. It would connect several towns with the city.
The owners of this means of transportation decided that, in order to attract users, it would be necessary to do something different from the traditional. So they began to design something unique in its style for the time. They decided that it would have a luxury area, with all the comforts and some additional surprises, and a more economical area for those who could not afford eccentricities.
In the luxurious area they would have a magician and a gypsy to entertain people during their journey. That was one of the charms that set it apart from the other streetcars. In addition, they would include meals during the trip. These would be prepared by a French chef hired for that purpose.
Ah, the stations would also have different names. Thus, the first station would be called "Birth", the second "Childhood", the third "Adolescence", the fourth "Maturity", the fifth "Longevity", the sixth "Disillusions", the seventh "Forgiveness", the eighth "Dreams" and the ninth and last "Happiness".
What its owners never suspected was what would happen, to the passengers, on their journeys........
The tramway began to make its transfers normally. Everyone was pleased with its services but at the same time it began to gain a reputation for unusual things happening to passengers on any itinerary. But people used it anyway because it had very good service, quality and unexpected surprises ...... . As its consistent passengers said: - "this train is phenomenal"-.

The Smith family descended from a family of aristocrats. They included Harry, a well-known city doctor, his wife Claire, who was his office assistant, and their children Ralph, 20, and Helen, 15.
The Schütz family was middle class. Albert always took the train to work. He had to travel 4 stations to get to his office. He had already heard rumors of the "haunted" train, which he didn't believe because nothing strange had ever happened to him. But....... that day, on his way to his office, he decided to concentrate on the sensations from the moment he entered the streetcar.
He passed the first station and nothing happened. Then he continued on to the second and third and nothing happened either, but when he reached the fourth station he heard a voice say to him:
"Remember what happened to your father on his birthday."
Albert remembered that he could not go to celebrate with him. Unfortunately, his father died that same night of a heart attack. Albert was left with a feeling of guilt, he never forgave himself for not being able to celebrate the birthday with his father. He had to get off, but decided that after he finished his chore he would go through all the stations.
He did so. Oh, surprise! After five minutes at Forgiveness station, he began to cry inconsolably.
Again the voice spoke to him: - "Albert you have to forgive yourself, it was not your fault that you were not present at your father's birthday. Now go on to the next stations, there you will find comfort".
Albert obeyed that mysterious voice.... When he was at the "Dreams" Station something tinkled in his head..... he was transported to the past, when Albert told his father that his dream was to have his own law firm. And his father would say to him:
-Son, I'll be completely blissful the day that comes true-".
He continued to the Happiness Station and here the mysterious voice spoke forcefully: "Albert, you can achieve your dream. Trust in yourself and realize your dream. At the end of it you will feel radiant.
When he returned home, he told his wife. She says to him:
-I have to take Melanie to Dr. Smith's office. I'll be careful being on the streetcar because I'm also taking Irwin and Margaret.
Helen enters the train, at Birth Station, and suddenly Melanie begins to cry desperately. Helen does not know what to do. A completely unfamiliar lady appears, says her name is Emily, puts her hand over the baby's heart and says, "You had problems with the birth:
-She had problems with the birth. All the women in our family have them, until today, the curse is over. I was given permission to come and cut the spell. I have to go now.
Helen asked in astonishment: "Who are you?

They move on to the second station, Childhood, and their other two children begin to fight. They are at each other's throats over a ball they lost. Instantly the mother notices what is happening...... and says:
-Children, calm down, next week I'll buy you another one.
It's their turn to get off. They go to the doctor's office. They knock on the door and enter. Mrs. Claire puts them in touch with Dr. Smith. He examines the baby and says:
-He says, "He's fine. Did something happen?
The lady told him what had happened on the train, to which the doctor explained:
-My children, at the Adolescence station, were each presented, separately, with a film of the mistakes they were making in their lives. When I was in Longevity, the gypsy woman appeared to me, as an ordinary passenger, and predicted an uncomplicated old age. But my wife, when she was at the Disillusions station, recognized the magician, who works in the other area of the train, asking for money to buy liquor.
-Oh! Then it's true what they say. The train has the magic of making us reflect on our lives," Helen replies.
-Yes, and that happens to all the passengers, so my wife Claire met with the town's highest authority to entertain the owners of the streetcar. We're all invited to celebrate next weekend. We are expecting a large turnout," says Dr. Smith.
Helen thanks him and says goodbye to Dr. Smith:
-Count on us, we will be present to celebrate such a nice event.

Hola! Estimados lectores hoy les mi cuento hace referencia de cómo los pasajeros suben al tren "encantado" en el que, como por arte de magia, se resuelven los conflictos de las diferentes estaciones de la vida.
Lo titulé: La alquimia del encantado ferrocarril de la vida
Transcurría el año 1934, en la ciudad de Denver, U.S.A. se inauguraba una ruta del ferrocarril, tan ansiado por sus habitantes. El mismo uniría varios pueblos con la ciudad.
Los dueños de este medio de transporte decidieron que, para atraer usuarios, sería necesario hacer algo diferente a lo tradicional. Así que empezaron a diseñar algo único en su estilo para la época. Decidieron que contaría con un área de lujo, con todas las comodidades y algunas sorpresas adicionales, y con otra más económica para los que no pudieran pagar excentricidades.
En el área lujosa tendrían un mago y una gitana para entretener a las personas mientras duraba su travesía. Ese era uno de los encantos que lo diferenciaban de los otros tranvías. Adicionalmente, incluirían comidas durante la travesía. Estas las prepararía un chef francés contratado para tal fin.
¡Ah! también las estaciones tendrían nombres diferentes. Así, la primera estación se llamaría “Nacimiento”, la segunda “Niñez”, la tercera “Adolescencia”, la cuarta “Madurez”, la quinta “Longevidad”, la sexta “Desilusiones”, la séptima “Perdón”, la octava “Sueños” y la novena y última “Felicidad”.
Lo que nunca sospecharon sus dueños era lo que sucedería, a los pasajeros, en sus viajes……..
El tranvía comenzó a realizar sus traslaciones normalmente. Todos estaban complacidos con sus servicios pero paralelamente comenzó a ganar fama de que a los pasajeros, que hacían cualquier itinerario, le sucedían cosas inusuales. Pero de todas maneras la gente lo utilizaba porque tenía muy buena atención, calidad y sorpresas inesperadas….. . Como decían sus consecuentes viajeros: -“este tren es fenomenal ”-.
Entre los asiduos pasajeros se encontraban las familias Schütz y Smith.
La familia Smith descendía de una familia de aristócratas. La integraban Harry, un afamado médico de la ciudad, su esposa Claire que era su asistente en el consultorio y sus hijos Ralph de 20 años y Helen de 15 años.
La familia Schütz era de clase media. Estaba formada por Albert un prominente abogado, su esposa Helen, madre y perfecta ama de casa, y sus tres hijos: Irwin de 9 años, Margaret de 6 años y la menor, Melanie, de 1 mes de nacida. Al Señor Schütz se le habían terminado sus cortas vacaciones en familia. Aunque quería disfrutar más tiempo, con la pequeña Melanie, su jefe solo le concedió un par de semanas. Por lo que retomaría su faena el lunes por la mañana.
Albert siempre viajaba en tren a su trabajo. Tenía que recorrer 4 estaciones para llegar a su oficina. Ya había escuchado los rumores del tren “encantado”, cosa que él no creía porque no le había sucedido nada extraño. Pero…….ese día, cuando iba para su oficina, decidió concentrarse en las sensaciones desde el momento de entrar al tranvía.
Pasó la primera estación y no pasó nada. Luego continuó con la segunda y tercera y tampoco pasó nada, pero al llegar a la cuarta escucha una voz que le dice:
-“Acuérdate lo que ocurrió con tu padre el día de su cumpleaños”.-
Albert recordó que no pudo ir para celebrarlo con él. Lamentablemente su padre murió esa misma noche de un infarto fulminante. A Albert le quedó un sentimiento de culpa, nunca se perdonó no poder celebrar el cumpleaños con su padre. Ya tenía que bajarse, pero decidió que después de terminar su faena recorrería todas las estaciones.
Así lo hizo. ¡Oh! Sorpresa al transcurrir cinco minutos en la estación “Perdón” empezó a llorar desconsoladamente.
Otra vez la voz le habló: -“Albert tienes que perdonarte a ti mismo, no fue culpa tuya que no estuvieras presente en el cumpleaños de tu padre. Ahora continúa a las siguientes estaciones, allí encontrarás consuelo”-
Albert obedeció aquella voz misteriosa….Al estar en la Estación “Sueños” algo tintineó en su cabeza….. se transportó al pasado, cuando Albert le comentaba a su padre que su sueño era tener su propio bufete de abogados. Y el padre le decía:
-Hijo, estaré completamente dichoso el día que eso se haga realidad-
Continuó a la Estación Felicidad y aquí la voz misteriosa hablo enérgicamente: “Albert tu puedes lograr tu sueño. Confía en ti mismo y realiza tu sueño. Al culminarlo te sentirás radiante”-
Al regresar a su casa se lo comenta a su esposa. La cual le comenta:
-Tengo que llevar a Melanie a la consulta con el Doctor Smith. Seré cautelosa al estar en el tranvía porque también llevo a Irwin y a Margaret.-
Entra Helen en el tren, en la Estación Nacimiento, y de repente Melanie comienza a llorar desesperadamente. Helen no sabe qué hacer. Aparece una Señora completamente desconocida, dice llamarse Emily, le coloca la mano sobre el corazón del bebé y dice:
-Tuvo problemas con el nacimiento. Todas las mujeres de nuestra familia los tienen, hasta hoy, se terminó la maldición. Me dieron permiso para venir y cortar el hechizo. Ya tengo que irme-
Helen asombrada pregunta: -¿Quién eres tú?-
-Tu tatarabuela-, contesta Emily al mismo tiempo que desaparece……
Pasan a la segunda estación, Niñez, y sus otros dos hijos comienzan a pelear. Se reclaman el uno al otro por una pelota que perdieron. Al instante la madre se percata de lo que ocurre…... y acota:
-Niños cálmense la semana que viene les compro otra-.
Ya les toca bajarse. Se dirigen al consultorio. Tocan a la puerta y entran. La Señora Claire los pone en contacto con el Doctor Smith. Este examina al bebé y dice:
-Está perfectamente. ¿Ocurrió algo?.
La Señora le comenta lo sucedido en el tren a lo que el médico le explica:
-A mis hijos, en la estación Adolescencia, le presentaron a cada uno, por separado, una película de los errores que estaban cometiendo en sus vidas. A mí cuando estuve en Longevidad se me apareció la gitana, como una pasajera corriente, y me auguró una vejez sin complicaciones. Pero mi esposa, cuando estuvo en la estación Desilusiones, reconoció al mago, que trabaja en la otra área del tren, pidiendo dinero para comprar licor.-
-¡Oh! Entonces es cierto lo que dicen. El tren tiene la magia de hacernos reflexionar sobre nuestra vida- responde Helen.
-Sí. Y eso les sucede a todos los pasajeros, por lo que mi esposa Claire se reunió con la máxima autoridad, del pueblo, para agasajar a los propietarios del tranvía. Estamos todos invitados a festejar el próximo fin de semana. Se espera una alta concurrencia de personas.- comenta el Doctor Smith.
Helen le da las gracias y se despide del Doctor Smith diciéndole:
-Cuente con nosotros, estaremos presentes para celebrar tan agradable acontecimiento.-
