RE: Unstrapped | The inkwell Prompt #31

Hello @litguru. The intensity of this drama once unfolded, kept building as to what would happen to the two warriors. The scene you describe certainly qualifies this piece for post-apocalyptic. The protest scene is one of familiarity when trying to conquer a perceived right or attempting to set things in order as they should be. The point in the story where the physical attraction occurs allows your readers to feel what it's like to be in the heat of battle and still have energy to allow emotions to overtake them, then acting accordingly. In that moment, it does seem as though they became unpredictable by allowing themselves to be exposed to the dangers.

I love the overall theme of independence, and the fight for it, knowing the odds are probably against you. That's the nature of humans...the will to fight and persevere.

Thanks for sharing your story.
