My Story "Moonlight" čľő´ŞĆ "Ay I┼č─▒─č─▒" Hikayem [ENG/TR]

ENG

The little owl was looking into the darkness of the night with its big eyes.
It was waiting for a little movement to catch the moonlight falling on the leaves on the forest floor. Calmly. It waited silently and patiently for hours.
Waited.
Waited.

It was almost an hour before dawn. The twilight lights were about to begin. If it couldn't see any movement anymore, tonight would have to end early. While it was thinking to itself, the light caught a little movement under the flower on the left. The little owl noticed this movement. As if thanking the light, it looked towards the full moon with its big eyes. Then, it spread its wings to take action and dropped itself from the branch of the tree.

Its claws were half its length. How tall would that be for a small owl, though? It dived in with its sharp claws, silent wings, and streamlined body that no one could detect.

Within seconds, it flew for meters and approached the action.
It's close.

It wrapped its claws over the moving friend, the snake, and caught it.
As if the snake girl was surprised: ''Hey hey hey! Ooooh little owl! Was it you that scared me!ÔÇŁ
"Yes, snake. I thought you weren't coming tonight"
ÔÇťI was going to come, but it took a long time to prepare my food. And the foxes have increased too much. I had to come running away from them.ÔÇŁ
"I see," said the little owl, starting to flap its wings. They had been planning this journey for a long time, even though the snake's weight would tire it out.

Turning its eyes deep into the twilight, it said: "Hey snake, can you remind me again how far is this place we're going?"
"It will take a few days for me, but a day's flight for you," said the snake.
The owl continued to fly.

It didn't like to fly in the daytime. After an hour or two they stopped and began to rest. The snake gave the owl the food it had prepared, and they slept on a branch of a tree during the day in inturn.

They were running away from their home. Towards their own dreams. The two animals, believed to be incompatible with each other, once again proved that their prejudices were wrong with the friendship they established.

When the sun started to set again, the owl woke up and took the snake in its claws, and started flying. They flew. They flew all night long. Now when it is about to give up from exhaustion:
"We're here," said the snake.

The owl descended slowly and landed on a branch. The snake thanked it. It started crawling downwards. ÔÇťHey, where are you going?ÔÇŁ said the owl.
ÔÇťIt would have taken a long time to come all this way alone. Now I have to meet him. Thank you very much. For helping me escape.ÔÇŁ
"You're welcome, but you said you'd protect me during the day while I slept"
"It's safe around here, Owl, don't worry," said the snake.

Then, she continued to crawl excitedly towards its lover who was waiting for it downstairs. They met years later. Thanks to the owl. The owl, on the other hand, was simultaneously experiencing the pride of meeting its friends and the sadness of the snake's failure to keep its word. It found itself a beautiful, densely leafy tree to rest on. It watched the sunrise there.

And it reminded itself of the promise it made years ago when its mother died...
"Love must always be supported, no matter who it is"

K├╝├ž├╝k bayku┼č, kocaman g├Âzleri ile gecenin karanl─▒─č─▒na do─čru bak─▒yordu. Orman─▒n zeminindeki yapraklar─▒n ├╝zerine d├╝┼čen ay ─▒┼č─▒─č─▒n─▒n yakalayaca─č─▒ k├╝├ž├╝k bir hareketi bekliyordu. Sakince.
Bekledi.
Bekledi.

Neredeyse g├╝n├╝n a─čarmas─▒na bir saat kalm─▒┼čt─▒. I┼č─▒─ča te┼čekk├╝r edermi┼č├žesine, kocaman g├Âzleri ile dolunaya do─čru bakt─▒. Ard─▒ndan harekete ge├žmek i├žin kanatlar─▒n─▒ a├žt─▒ ve kendisini a─čac─▒n dal─▒ndan a┼ča─č─▒ya do─čru b─▒rakt─▒.

Pen├želeri boyunun yar─▒s─▒ kadar uzundu. Ger├ži k├╝├ž├╝k bir bayku┼č i├žin ne kadar uzun olabilirdi ki. Sivri pen├želeri ile dal─▒┼ča ge├žti, sessiz kanatlar─▒ ve aerodinamik v├╝cudu sayesinde onu kimsenin fark etmesi m├╝mk├╝n de─čildi.

Saniyeler i├žinde metrelerce u├žarak harekete do─čru yakla┼čt─▒.
Yakla┼čt─▒.

Pen├žesini hareket eden arkada┼č─▒ y─▒lan─▒n ├╝zerinden sard─▒ ve onu yakalad─▒.
Y─▒lan k─▒z─▒ ┼ča┼č─▒rm─▒┼č├žas─▒na: ''Hey hey hey! Oooo k├╝├ž├╝k bayku┼č! ├ľd├╝m├╝ kopartt─▒n sen miydin!''
''Evet y─▒lan. Bu gece gelmeyeceksin sand─▒m''
''Gelecektim ama yeme─čimi haz─▒rlamak uzun zaman ald─▒. Bir de tilkiler ├žok fazla artm─▒┼č. Onlardan ka├žarak gelmek zorunda kald─▒m.''
''Anlad─▒m'' dedi k├╝├ž├╝k bayku┼č kanatlar─▒n─▒ ├ž─▒rpmaya ba┼člayarak. Y─▒lan─▒n a─č─▒rl─▒─č─▒ onu yoracak olsa da bu yolculu─ču uzun s├╝redir planl─▒yorlard─▒.

G├Âzlerini alacakaranl─▒─č─▒n derinlerine ├ževirerek ┼č├Âyle s├Âyledi: ''Hey y─▒lan, tekrardan hat─▒rlat─▒r m─▒s─▒n bu gidece─čimiz yer ne kadar uzakl─▒kta''
''Benim i├žin birka├ž g├╝n ama senin i├žin bir g├╝nl├╝k bir u├žu┼č s├╝rer'' dedi y─▒lan.
Bayku┼č, u├žmaya devam etti.

G├╝nd├╝z vakti u├žmay─▒ sevmiyordu.

Kendi hayallerine do─čru.

Art─▒k yorgunluktan pes etmek ├╝zereyken:
''Geldik'' dedi y─▒lan.

A┼ča─č─▒ya do─čru s├╝r├╝nmeye ba┼člad─▒. ''Hey, nereye gidiyorsun?'' dedi bayku┼č.
''Bu kadar yolu tek ba┼č─▒ma gelmek ├žok uzun s├╝rerdi. ┼×imdi onunla bulu┼čmam laz─▒m. Sana ├žok te┼čekk├╝r ederim. Ka├žmama yard─▒m etti─čin i├žin.''
''Rica ederim ama g├╝nd├╝z boyunca ben uyurken beni koruyaca─č─▒n─▒ s├Âylemi┼čtin''
''Buralar g├╝venlidir bayku┼č, merak etme'' dedi y─▒lan.

Kendisine dinlenecek g├╝zel ve yo─čun yaprakl─▒ bir a─ča├ž buldu. G├╝n do─čumunu orada izledi.

Ve kendisine y─▒llar ├Ânce verdi─či s├Âz├╝, annesi ├Âld├╝─č├╝nde verdi─či s├Âz├╝ tekrardan hat─▒rlatt─▒ÔÇŽ
