Going on high speed with his power bike, Emmy got into an accident. When the ambulance arrived, Emmy was lying almost lifeless on the ground but fortunately he was still breathing.
On getting to the hospital, they took him to the operation ward because during the accident his eyes were affected.
Emmy is a multi-millionaire who inherited the wealth from his late father. He had a younger sister and they are both living with their mother.
Waking up that morning, Emmy felt like going out for a ride on his power bike but due to his careless riding, that was how he ended up at the hospital.
Luckily for Emmy, the operation was successful but he had to stay at the hospital till he regained his sight. Emmy was very aggressive to the doctors and nurses because he felt he wouldn't be able to see again. He was not willing to take his medications and as such he was not responding to treatment. Emmy felt hopeless.
It was time for Emmy to receive his afternoon meditation, he was still aggressive to the nurse on duty, because of the fear of being hurt by Emmy, she ran out of Emmy's ward and she bumped into Stephanie.
Stephanie was an intern in the hospital, she was new so she has no knowledge of what happened to Emmy so she used that opportunity to ask the nurse what was wrong with Emmy so the nurse told her everything she needed to know.
Stephanie felt sorry for him because she knows what it means to lose something. Stephanie has a scar at the left side of her cheek so she always uses her hair to cover the scar because she felt it made her look really ugly.
The next day Stephanie volunteered to attend to Emmy, everyone was surprised and happy at the same time. When Stephanie came inside Emmy's ward, she did something that made her stood out from the other nurses, she communicated with Emmy with so much concern, Emmy felt it that this nurse haven't attended to him before, so instead of his normal way of been aggressive to scare them away, he even wanted Stephanie to remain with him.
Everyone at the hospital were surprised, because he started responding to his treatment and he was now very eager to regain his sight because he wants to see the face of the person that gave him hope again.
Due to the fact that Emmy was listening to Stephanie, the doctors now gave her to Emmy as his personal nurse. So Stephanie and Emmy always spend time together and they both started getting fond of each other.
At this point, Stephanie was really scared because she thinks that Emmy wouldn't like her again once he sees her scared face, so she decided to stop her internship because Emmy was soon going to be discharged.
A week after she stopped her internment, Emmy was discharged. Emmy was worried about her whereabout but when he asked of her address, the hospital refused to disclose it to him.
Instead of being happy he has finally regained his sight, he was moody because he still haven't met Stephanie yet. His moody face made his friend Jay to ask him what the problem was, when Emmy told him what was wrong, he advised Emmy to go to the hospital again and ask of her address, and I this time, he should show them how desperately he needs it.
Emmy took the advice of his friend and did according to what he told him. Luckily for him, he got what he wanted. So he decided to pay a visit to Stephanie. When he got there, he pressed the ding-dong to announce his presence. Stephanie was with her sister in the living room discussing about Emmy. When they heard the bell ringing, Stephanie asked her sister if she was expecting anyone but she said she wasn't. So Stephanie went to get the door wand was surprised to see Emmy, her sister greeted him and left.
Emmy was happy to see Stephanie but she was not happy to see him. Emmy was in doubt as to why she was acting like that, so he asked her why she was turning her face away and that's when she revealed her face to him, at first Emmy felt disappointed but he told Stephanie that because of the time I lost my sight, I've learnt to see things even when my eyes are closed.
Emmy told Stephanie he still loves her and he would love to spend the rest of his life with her. Stephanie felt things were happening too quick, so she asked him to give them some time to get to know themselves better.
After some months they both got engaged and Stephanie was really happy because she never thought anyone would ever fall in love with her because of her scared face but at last she found someone.
