Don't just look at the surface

This is the story of Niffy, a pretty lady who had been seeking for job for years. She graduated with a First class degree. She had written a lot of application letters to companies but wasn't offered any job.

After months of attempting different companies, she finally got an approval. She was told to come for an interview.

On the day of the interview, as she wanted to board a cab to go to the office, a man asked her for the direction to a place.
Here was the conversation that ensued between them;

The man: Hey lady, Good morning!

(Niffy, who was in hurry to get to the interview, heard but didn't reply the man)

The man: Hey young lady I'm talking to you, I need the direction to the closest supermarket around here.

Niffy: (looks at the man from head to toe, and squeezed her face in irritation) Old man!! Leave me alone, I'm in hurry.

The man: I'm came visiting here, I don't know where to get some dairy products...

Niffy: (cuts in) Are you out of your mind? Why would you ask me such question? Do I look like a Google map?

A woman close to them told her what she did was wrong, that she "overreacted" and could have just given the man the directions.

Instead of her admitting that she was wrong, she abused the woman too.
I said I'm going for an interview and I don't want to be late "She shouted" as she boarded a cab and left.
The woman then directed the man to the nearest supermarket and he thanked her.

Niffy got to the company on time. She was even earlier than the time of the appointment. The Receptionist told her to wait for a while, that the Manager is on his way.

Thirty (30) minutes later, a properly dressed man walked in with a pack of Groceries in his hands.
Good Morning, Manager. " The receptionist greeted".
Guess who the manager of the company was. Behold the man who Niffy abused and refused to show direction was the manager of the company.

Immediately she saw him, she knew she had lost the job already. As they made eye contact, she placed her hands on her head in regret.

That was how she lost the job by judging the worth of the man by his outward appearance alone.
