The Train : The Inkwell Fiction Prompt #14

It's Friday, some group of boys were at the train station. There were waiting for the train when it arrived. The train station was crowded with people. This group of boys were going on a vacation trip to a nearby country.

The train station was very big. Is one of the biggest train station in Cape Town. The train station has stalls and shops were you can buy something to eat.

Few minutes later, there was announcement that the train will soon arrive in the station.
The boys were getting ready to enter the train when it gets to the station.

When the train arrived at the station. The group of boys were shouting and making noise, they quickly ran into the train. They occupied some seats before other people could enter.

The train was filled with people within some seconds. The train was ready to move. Suddenly, an old woman with her son,Chika, entered the train. They sat beside those group of boys.

The old woman's son was so excited to see everything.

“Look mom, everything is moving so fast outside and the train is moving fast also.” Said the Chika to his mom.

“That's how it works” replied the mother.

The little Chika was surprise to see things moving very fast.

Chika was pointing at things he saw outside from train window. He urged his father to look at them also.

The group of boy saw what Chika was doing and thought he was mad. “This boy need to see a doctor. Look at how he is pointing things from the train.” One of the boys said.

Chika's father heard him and replied with a calm voice to the boys.

“We are just coming back from the hospital. My son here has lost his sight, he was blind from birth. He just got his eyes few days ago, he can see now. All this things he is pointing are the first things he is seeing in life. So please don't mock him.”

The group of boys felt bad and stop mocking Chika. They told the old man and his son there were so sorry for what happened.

The train stopped and everybody went to there different destinations.
