A Community with no king in it happened to have a little misunderstanding resulting from their way of life. They were living without rules except for just one day where they all gathered to install a chief who will take care of the community. He is the only one who has the power to make rules in the community. So, he was named the osogba of the land. Everyone became happy for having someone who can make laws in their Community. This brought all the Community members into a great celebration and indeed a bigger one.

The osogba of the community has two wives and in total has seven children, but just two girls. The boys are grown-ups and are all working hand in hand with their father to make peace happens in the community, which is what everyone needs in the community. The osogbe ruled for several years, but not as a king. They were still yelling for a king which they found difficult to have. He made them remain unsettled.

The truth is that having a king in such a Community will call for the demise of many lives because everyone would love to be a king if asked. So, another solid rule that can make it work came out which was the best way. The Community was formed under three different quarters. These quarters have an elder who happened to be the one who came first to build the community. The rule is to make the three quarters produce a king every ten years. This means that the one in power will be demoted when it gets to ten years. So, they must each provide the powerful person they wish to ask, but the head which happened to be the elder in terms of the quarter will lead first. They all agreed to the rule and also were given two weeks to present their best person who they felt could be their king.

When it was two weeks, they presented someone that can cause havoc in the community which they all objected to but have no choice other than to accept since his reign will be for ten years. So, the Community was filled with great joy as for the first time they wanted to have a taste of a king. A date for the coronation was fixed and they all gathered in the community town hall. The governor of the state was invited to crown their king and other kings from other kingdoms were invited. The celebration came up and their king was crowned. It was a happy day for all the citizens of that community and the Community closer to them. This means they will now have access to enjoy what they have not been enjoying all this while. They have not been enjoying any project from the government except a few.

The newly crowned king's reign was a mess as they were expecting much from him not knowing that he will take all the community entitlement as his. Every benefit coming in was siphoned by the king without letting the Community have a little knowledge about it or have a little benefit from it. He only did less out of what they were expecting him to do. The king faced his family the most and rejected anyone who ran to him for help. There was no smile on the faces of the community members but they are all waiting for the last day which will be the tenth year of his reign.

When it was ten years, he refused to surrender the seat which resulted in a little conflict in the community. The night of the tenth year, a gun was shot in his compound, which is the palace. There was unrest in the city that night. Everyone was wondering what might have happened, not until the news blew into the air that he still wants to retain the post. Power has eaten him so deep that he forgot to make his Community have the better benefits they were supposed to have.

So, that night, a call was put across to the governor by the osogba of the community, which immediately called the king to obey rules. Indeed there was supposed to be a conflict between the king's family and the community members. This was because the community members were ready to go to war with his counting on the benefits the king had deprived them of. The era of the king who happened to be greedy came and indeed gone.

So, the Community set to have a new king in the second quarter. This time they exercised patience to choose the best person to be their king. The newly installed king was a nice man and someone who was and he is not greedy even after ascending the post. He ruled for ten years and did not make a fuss with people in the community. The king brought happiness and joy into the faces of the members of the community. They all enjoyed the benefits they were once longing for. He was a good and great king which they would want to have again and again if allowed.
