Alice was the mother of Lizzy who treats her daughter as though she was a child despite being a teenager, making her lunch, and combing her hair for school so that she won't be late. Alice offer her daughter a ride on her bicycle but she refused because she thought it would be embarrassing. Lizzy was always bullied at school by her classmates. Lizzy was very good at Art and she would often be praised by her teacher during the Art class but after the class, her classmates would make fun of her and waste out her paint color.
Alice was a saleswoman at a bakery. She was called from school about her daughter. She asked permission from her boss to go and check on her daughter that was rushed to the hospital because she was beaten by her classmate and they pour paint on her. When the nurse asked her who poured paint on her, she said she did it to herself. She only tried to disguise an obvious lie but she breaks down went Mum asked her what her favorite color is. The nurse asked what Lizzy was like at home, she became mute for a while and said her father disappeared about two years.
On their way home, Alice encouraged her daughter to go to school the next day and to remain strong. The following day, Alice fainted while serving a customer at work and she was rushed to the hospital. The doctor sent her for a test to check what was wrong with her, he discovered she had stage 4 terminal cancer in her pancreas and spread throughout her body. Alice talked to a private investigator named Sam, who claims her husband may be living with another woman.
The following day, Alice faced her ex-husband named Felix, visiting him at his apartment. Alice was only there to confess her terminal condition. Lizzy got home only to be surprised that her father is back but he is not alone, he is with his eight daughters. He told them he left home when he discovered he had impregnated a girl some year ago. He moves with her and her daughter only for the mother to leave her with his daughter.
Alice's weakness was getting worse. The doctor tells her how crucial and bad her condition is. The doctor thinks Alice's condition originated from stress. At school, Lizzy's classmates make fun of her because lost her school uniform, so she wore her P.E outfit. The next, Lizzy didn't want to go to school because her classmate would bully her. Her mother encourages her to face her classmates and not feel ashamed. She tells her mother that she does not the courage to do so.
As usual, Lizzy got to class and her classmate was teasing, she then remembers her mother's word. In the middle of the class, she decides to stand up for herself, undressing in front of her classmate and telling them to return her uniform, as she suspects that it was one of her classmates that stole her uniform. Before she goes home, her uniform was returned to her anonymously and she returned home with her uniform on. Her mother stood while watching her come her in her uniform.
