Tonight I'm thinking...
After last week's killer episode of faustian bargains and exploring bands writing music about the mythology behind dealing with higher powers in exchange for talent, money, fortune and fame, I'm ready for a more random playlist and a fun night of really heavy metal. A few days ago, a tiny adorable bat decided to rock up to the eaves of my house and drop into hibernation. I have decided this is a SPOOKY SIGN and it brings me no end of joy to look out the window and see my teeny, furry bat fren just...hanging out. As such, I made a playlist in his honour! Does this sound stupid? Maybe! Does that matter? Not even a little bit! Let's get together and talk about the descending autumn, the blessings heaped upon me by the spoopy season, and I want to pick your brain about what to do with show replays and how you best consume your metal. (Alive and full of delicious blood? Hanging upside down? Echolocated by a series of high pitched screeches?)
