Felicity and Maria were a close-knit couple and every year on their anniversary, on the exact day they met, they reenacted their encounter. Felicity wore the same turquoise sweater, which left one shoulder uncovered and enhanced her ivory neck, went to the same bar of the time, sat on a stool at the counter sipping a cabernet. It didn't take long for some enterprising man to flank her to buy her drinks and flirt. Mary would appear a few minutes later, sit at the stool next to Felicity and during a pause in the man's courtship repeat the poetic phrase that had won her over. Then they stared into each other's eyes, smiled and kissed tenderly, then left the bar hand in hand, while the man remained stunned and confused.

Felicity e Maria erano un'affiatata coppia ed ogni anno alla ricorrenza del loro anniversario, nell'esatto giorno in cui si erano conosciute, rimettevano in scena il loro incontro. Felicity indossava lo stesso maglione turchese, che le lasciava una spalla scoperta ed esaltava il suo collo d'avorio, andava nello stesso bar dell'epoca, si sedeva su uno sgabello al bancone a sorseggiare un cabernet. Non ci voleva molto che qualche uomo intraprendete le si affiancasse per offrirle da bere e per flirtare. Maria appariva qualche minuto dopo, si sedeva allo sgabello accanto a Felicity e durante una pausa del corteggiamento dell'uomo ripeteva la poetica frase che l'aveva conquistata. Quindi si fissarono negli occhi sorridendosi per baciarsi teneramente per poi uscire dal locale mano nella mano, mentre l''uomo rimaneva basito e confuso.
