Samantha looked into people's eyes every day, not only as an eye doctor but also as a soul scrutinizer. She possessed a certain sensitivity that allowed her to grasp moods and suffering. Possedeva una certa sensibilità che le permetteva di carpire stato d'animo e sofferenze. Aveva sempre un tono affabile e cercava di indagare i motivi di stress al di fuori del campo medico. Oltre alle prescrizioni dispensava parole di incoraggiamento e l'empatia che dimostrava al prossimo rincuorava i suoi pazienti, alleggerendoli di quel senso opprimente di cui la vita alle volte ci fa carico.
