As Friday is in open beta, we'd like to give our users some info on what's being done and what they can expect to see in the coming weeks. This past week didn't have a lot of visible changes done, but a lot did happen behind the scenes.
We fixed some of the messages that got sent to users, using the real error that occurred instead of a "probably what happened". The .witness command was also broken, giving inaccurate info on any of the witnesses who weren't part of the top 100. This has now been fixed and will show the correct data.
A bug caused titles to not be shown up on certain post notifications, this has now been fixed and it should work.
We also got around to saving the last blocked handled. This means that if we need to replay blocks because we were down can now happen. This also will mean that double notifications when we update won't happen anymore.
Delegations for hive-engine tokens have been added. Undelegations still aren't there but will be added soon. This can now be enabled in the settings to get the notification.
We also did a lot of work that will help us with future development(setup eslint, came up with a standard, code refactoring).
Next week will be more work to make it easier in the future(code cleanup and refactoring) as well as working on notifications on proposals/DHF(@deathwing) and hive engine tokens(@rishi556).
Weekly updates will only be made while we are adding a lot of features, once Friday gets to a point with most of the features implemented, we will not be posting as often, only when needed.
