Hive / Hive-Engine Monitor Update

I haven't been posting for a while, but I still have been making small changes to the Hive / Hive-Engine Monitor page. If you have never heard of that before, the main purpose of the page is to check your Hive / Hive-Engine witness votes. Additionally it provides some useful information about the earnings of witnesses and some useful resources if you want to start a Hive-Engine witness yourself.

Head over there right now and check your Hive witness votes, by entering your Hive account name and clicking on "Check witness votes": https://primersion.com/witnesses

I have already written in many of my previous posts, why it's important to keep your votes up-to-date and you can find plenty of other posts about it. If on the page any of your votes show up in red on top saying "Please review the following votes" you should remove them and replace them with active ones, which may look like this:

NEW: I have recently made a change on when votes will show up as "outdated". Previously witnesses with a price feed older than a week were always showing up on top. Now only witnesses in the top 20 will show up, if they have an old price feed, since only the top 20 witnesses are used for the calculations and the price feed is not all that important for the remaining ones.
Outdated ones will still show up in the list of witnesses in red, but they are not highlighted on top of the list anymore:

One more thing, which was bothering me for a while was the witness earnings page, which shows the last days / last weeks earning of all Hive witnesses. Until now I have been using a small python program, which was processing Hive blocks in the background and updating all information about the Hive witnesses. The program was crashing all now an then, which made this a bit annoying.

NEW: I have changed it to fetch up-to-date information directly using HiveSQL. The data is aggregated and displayed directly over here: https://primersion.com/earnings

Hive-Engine

I have added a new updated snapshoting feature a few weeks ago, which creates daily snapshots of the Hive-Engine sidechain at 11pm UTC. This is especially useful for people running a Hive-Engine node, since the nodes diverge from the chain all now an then, which requires the node to be restored. You can find the snapshot in the menu on the left side:

Or directly using the link: https://snap.primersion.com/

Additionally I have made a few smaller changes in several areas over the last months, which I don't remember in detail.
I am always trying to improve the page, since I am using it regularly myself too.

That's it for now and I hope to be posting more regularly again in the next weeks.
