This Saturday the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, decided to give a stimulus to students who obtained assistantships in different specialties. We were preparing all week and that day we finally headed to the "La Giraldilla" recreational center.
Este sábado la universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana, Cuba, decidió dar un estímulo a los estudiantes que obtuvieron ayudantía en diferentes especialidades.
Se estuvo preparando toda la semana y ese día por fin mos dirigíamos al centro recreativo "La Giraldilla".
At the beginning we had a meeting, we talked about the importance of working on research for and for public health. It is supposed to be a form of personal and professional growth for the college student.
Al inicio tuvimos una reunión, se habló de la importancia de trabajar en investigaciones por y para la salud pública. Se supone que es una forma de crecimiento personal y profesional para el estudiante universitario.

At one in the afternoon the fun would begin. "La Giraldilla" contains excellent food and drink offers but this time the Faculty was concerned that each of its students had the opportunity to consume lunch completely free. They provided drinks, beer and ice cream at moderate prices for students. And the pool. We enjoyed six hours, dancing and playing within it.
A la una de la tarde comenzaría la diversión. "La Giraldilla" contiene excelentes ofertas de comida y bebida pero esta vez la Facultad se preocupó porque cada uno de sus estudiantes tuviese la oportunidad de consumir almuerzo totalmente gratis. Brindaron tragos, cerveza y helado a precios moderados para estudiantes. Y la piscina. Disfrutamos de seis horas, bailando y jugando dentro de ella.

It was time to leave, and I can comment that it is a very welcoming place, all the employees are friendly and charismatic, they dance and treat us with a lot of respect. They gave the winner of a dance competition a free lunch with a date there at the recreation center. There was a lot of energy, we all tried to rest from day to day and we achieved it. It was a very nice and accepted activity.
Llegó la hora de irse, y puedo comentar que es un local muy acogedor, todos los empleados son amables y carismáticos, ellos bailan y nos tratan con mucho respeto.
Le otorgaron al ganador de una competencia de baile un almuerzo gratis con un acompañante allí en el centro recreativo. Hubo mucha energía, todos intentamos descansar del día a día y lo logramos. Fue una actividad muy bonita y aceptada.
