I truly cannot comprehend why, given that it is widely believed that everyone will partake in it at some point in their life, masturbation is still surrounded by taboos and secrecy, even though it is a normal human behavior.

Some people see it as a time of self-exploration and enjoyment, a means to delve into their sexuality in a secure and private setting. For some people, it may involve feeling uneasy and unsure due to underlying issues related to their self-connection.

Honestly speaking, in my situation, it's something that doesn't happen often. This is not because I lack desire or curiosity, but because I am uncomfortable with myself.

Nevertheless, I don't criticize those who find it more convenient.

It's amusing because I grew up in a highly liberated atmosphere, where there were no taboos and everything was open. However, as I matured, I discovered that this sense of unease was not limited to just myself.

A lot of individuals, particularly women, find it difficult to embrace their sexuality. The media and popular culture frequently set impractical and unreachable norms for beauty and behavior, leading to a disconnect between our true selves and the unrealistic ideals we strive to meet. In the confines of the bedroom, these uncertainties are intensified, transforming the activity from a enjoyable retreat to a clash with personal weaknesses. I feel that way.

The unease arises from the desire to be at ease with oneself, a goal that can be challenging to attain.

The act of self-pleasure is an individual decision - quite self-explanatory, isn't it? For certain individuals, it is a daily routine of enjoyment and personal growth. For people like myself, it remains a challenge that has yet to be conquered.
