Level Up Play Not Level Down Food

Today, I went to this event called Level Up Play 2024 at KLCC which is happening from Sept 13-15 so tomorrow is the last day. My boss got me a one day ticket because he wanted to go scout some gaming companies and he's not too familiar with the gaming stuff. My boss went earlier in the day and I came later. When I arrived, he was already leaving to another event so I was alone attending this event. For me, I don't really enjoy going to these types of events alone. I need someone there since I'm not the type to initiate and make new friends there.

I'm not going to spam all the pictures but here is one where there were a ton of racing set ups. I think there was like 15-20 so could get a whole gang to race. There was also game developers that showcased their new games. There was a trading card tournament for Cardfight Vanguard. I was shocked that there were so many people playing that TCG. There were also a lot of other TCG stands that even had booths to teach people how to play their game which isn't bad idea because they also try to get sales with the starter decks.

Anyways this event was probably the highlight of my weekend. I want to answer a random question and that is if I was ever to embrace a vegan diet. The answer to this would be straight out no I love meat and I need meat in my meals whether it be pork, chicken, lamb or beef etc. In addition to that, I don't think I would be able to enjoy any of the desserts I like either since they need milk or other ingredients that are not vegan.

I had this poke torched salmon bowl a while back. It was at a place that specialized in "healthy food". I want to say it was definitely healthy and how do I know? Most of the ingredients are vegetables and it just had that healthy taste. This bowl had Japanese tumeric rice, quinoa, poached egg, roasted vegies, seaweed, takuan pickled radish and so on. Honestly, the torched salmon and egg were the two items I enjoyed the most. The rest was meh but I still finished it all. If I had to imagine myself eating this without the salmon and egg, I would be so sad. There's no way I could handle a vegan diet. Losing meat is like leveling down food!

That's all for me this weekend. How about you could you get on that vegan diet?
