sadly, due to the context of the pandemic, neither my girlfriend nor I can be with her in her day. Because in Argentina, Monday and Tuesday are holidays, so yesterday, President Alberto Fernández decreed 9 days of confinement to discourage tourism this long weekend.

Debido a que en Argentina, el lunes y martes son feriados por lo que en el día de ayer, el Presidente Alberto Fernández decretó 9 días de confinamiento para desalentar el turismo en este fin de semana largo.
So for this reason we could not go to see her but that did not prevent us from sharing with her even the greetings and congratulations.
Así que por este motivo no pudimos ir a verla pero eso no nos impidió compartir con ella aunque sea los saludos y felicitaciones.
She, my sisters, my grandmother and my aunt were waiting to eat empanadas. A typical Argentine food for birthday celebrations. And we in our house also decided to eat empanadas, so the celebration felt a little closer.
Ella, mis hermanas, mi abuela y mi tía estaban esperando para comer empanadas. Una comida típica de Argentina en festejos de cumpleaños. Y nosotras en nuestra casa también decidimos comer empanadas, así que el festejo se sintió un poco más cercano.
My sister made her a chocolate cake filled with dulce de leche liqueur. Unfortunately I have nothing now that she replaces it or resembles it haha 😪😭
Mi hermana le hizo una torta de chocolate con relleno de licor de dulce de leche. Lamentablemente no tengo nada ahora que lo reemplace o se le asemeje jaja 😪😭
And well, as in all birthdays, we take some photos to leave a memory of this new quarantined birthday, in times of pandemic.

It was a nice moment and it makes me happy that she is receiving her birthday in good company. For my part, I hope that this year she receives even more happiness, health above all, and better opportunities than she had in this past year. 50 are not fulfilled every day and without a doubt when this quarantine is lifted we will celebrate them.
