Weekend: hamburgers and board games!

Is it correct to say that one of life's great pleasures is to surround oneself with amazing people and share experiences through moments? It doesn't matter where, whether it's a special occasion or not, but having loved ones around makes all the difference in making a night fun. And today's post is about fun, games, and hamburgers!

I'm passionate about board games, and so is my girlfriend, so I think I got really lucky in that aspect! But to make it even more fun, it's good to have more people. After all, five people is a perfect number for these types of games. So, three more friends joined us, and the night promised to be full of fun, laughter, shouting, and maybe some fights. Of course! Fights make everything more competitive. What's the fun of winning something without someone to make angry?

Personally, I love getting my girlfriend mad during games, but she doesn't hold back either. It seems like her goal in any game we play is to beat me or mess with me. In those moments, it doesn't even seem like we're dating; the rivalry is intense! Our friends have gotten used to this competition between her and me and also get into this rivalry atmosphere, which means the night is always full of intense competition. Nobody here gives up on a victory.

The night was filled with two games.

The first one is called "Perfil," which works as follows: on a game board, the participant who reaches the end first wins, nothing different from what you already know. But to progress in the game, you need to be the winner of the round by figuring out what object, place, or person is hidden on a card, which one of the participants will be reading. To help in this mission, a hint about the "profile" will be given to each participant's turn, and whoever guesses with fewer hints will earn more points. Each point represents a space on the board. This game is fun and also a way to gather knowledge since it can mention historical facts, geographic data, among others, which help us remember things we've studied before or even learn something new.

And there was a special guest appearance: our little dog Margot was there and promised to bite anyone who didn't behave well!

After testing our knowledge a bit, it was time for a bit of card game called UNO. Actually, I would be lying if I said we played just a little; we stayed up quite late playing this game. It's really addictive. And it's in this game that we get to know how people are; here, the darkest personality traits of each person come out, nothing about anyone's personality is hidden, haha! You probably know this game, but if you don't, it allows you to disrupt people who are nearby, while everyone races against time to eliminate all the cards from their hand.

Hamburgers!

Well, it was really a great night, we had so much fun! But it's not over yet; we made homemade burgers to accompany this game marathon. Actually, this time it was my girlfriend, @xlety, who prepared and went through each process of making the burgers. There's no comparison; the burgers we make at home are wonderful, always very delicious, and our friends, just like us, enjoyed them immensely!

Nights like these do us good, and I love being able to do this. I wouldn't trade moments like this for anything; the night was awesome!

Thank you for reading this far, and see you next weekend!
