Hello Hive friends ❤️! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and were able to relax or spend it with your loved ones. We are having a long weekend around here, so we still have tomorrow Monday to continue enjoying a little less commitments 😅. For my part, I had my birthday just like last weekend , since my other grandmother also had her birthday these days ❤️.
¡Hola amigos de Hive ❤️! Espero que hayan tenido un maravilloso fin de semana y hayan podido descansar o pasarlo con sus seres queridos. Por aquí estamos teniendo un fin de semana largo, por lo que aún nos queda mañana lunes para seguir disfrutando un poco menos de compromisos 😅. Por mi parte, estuve de cumpleaños al igual que el fin de semana pasado, ya que mi otra abuela también cumplió años por estos días ❤️.
This celebration was somewhat impromptu, as we had a bigger party planned next week, but we decided to get together on the actual birthday day anyway. For a quick lunch, we came up with chicken and salad schnitzels: this saved a lot of time to cook. Well, I have to cook for a long time, since I took care of all the preparations 😅.
Esta celebración fue algo improvisada, ya que teníamos planeado un festejo más grande la semana entrante, pero de todos modos decidimos juntarnos el día real del cumpleaños. Para un almuerzo rápido se nos ocurrió preparar milanesas de pollo y ensalada: esto evitó que haya que cocinar mucho tiempo. Bueno, que yo tenga que cocinar mucho tiempo, ya que me encargué de todas laa preparaciones 😅.
As it was something last minute, there was no birthday cake either, but so that this special moment is not missing on birthdays, I bought a ricotta cake for my grandmother at the bakery and we put a birthday candle on it 😂. I think that what counts is the intention and here it was noticed very well.
Como fue algo de último minuto tampoco hubo torta de cumpleaños, pero para que no falte este momento tan especial en los cumpleaños, compré para mi abuela una tarta de ricota en la panadería y le colocamos una vela de cumpleaños 😂. Pienso que lo que vale es la intención y acá se notó muy bien.
Either way, the humble ricotta pie was delicious. This bakery is a business near my home and this is the second time I have purchased this style of cake. It cost me 450 ARS, almost 3 USD. What do you think of this price? 😅
De cualquier forma, la humilde tarta de ricota estuvo deliciosa. Esta panadería es un negocio cerca de mi casa y es la segunda vez que compro este estilo de tarta. Me costó 450 ARS, casi 3 USD. ¿Qué opinan de este precio? 😅
We spent a pleasant afternoon with laughter and food. Although everything was simple, we had a good time among the few that we were. My grandmother looked very happy, even though she always denies a little on her birthday 😂.
Pasamos una agradable tarde entre risas y comida. A pesar de que todo fue sencillo, la pasamos bien entre los pocos que éramos. A mi abuela se la veía muy feliz, a pesar de que siempre reniega un poco el día de su cumpleaños 😂.

My grandmother is a great person: she is always ready to help when we need her and she is unconditional for us. We have gone on several trips together, I like to spend time with her. An interesting fact about her is that she is a tarot reader and can predict the future 😱. Many times I was surprised with this so it's believe or bust 😅.
Mi abuela es una gran persona: siempre esta dispuesta a ayudar cuando la necesitamos y es incondicional para nosotros. Hemos ido a varios viajes juntas, me gusta compartir tiempo con ella. Un dato interesante sobre ella es que es tarotista y puede predecir el futuro 😱. Muchas veces me sorprendió con esto así que es creer o reventar 😅.

Here are some photos of the three generations. I don't know what happened to my genes, but I don't look like my mother or my grandmother. Supposedly I look like my paternal grandfather, but this is unknowable because I never met him 😂.

This long weekend I take several activities to do: I was also walking through the ex-zoo in my city and I went to a recital, soon I will share the photos with you. Meanwhile, tomorrow is needle work Monday and I will prepare a project to share, I have not used my sewing machine for several hours in a row and I already miss it 😅. We read tomorrow to see what I can think of to sew in a while.
Este fin de semana largo me tomo con varias actividades para hacer: también estuve paseando por el ex-zoologico de mi ciudad y fui a un recital, pronto compartiré las fotos con ustedes. Mientras tanto, mañana es lunes de trabajo de agujas y prepararé un proyecto para compartir, hace rato no uso mi máquina de coser variaa horas seguidas y ya la extraño 😅. Nos leemos mañana para ver qué se me ocurre para coser en un rato.
