Hi hivers! After our sumptuous lunch at Kapenarra (see: Lunch at Kapennara Cafe), we finally arrived at Paradizzo Beach Resort, where adventure awaits!
We first checked in to our respective rooms, settled down, and rest for a while. Our family room is good for 6 people - 2 queen bed, a sofa, and an extra foam. We couldn't agree on who'll take the extra foam because everyone wants to sleep in the bed, so to decide the lucky winner, we played card games. In the end, we all had a good laugh.
By 3pm, when the scorching heat now seemed bearable, we played outdoor team activities. We formed into 2 random groups and played lots of water games. Luckily, our group won the games and collectively received P2,000 as a prize for winning.
After the games, we then dipped into the salty sea until sunset. As someone who isn't familiar with waters, one of my mini achievement in this swim is that I finally know how to float in the water. I never knew how calming and relaxing it feels like floating around.
When it was time for dinner, we all gathered in a long table and ate with a sea view. The foods served were mostly seafoods with some sinigang (fish soup) and variety of fruits to truly feel the tropical vibes of the beach.
After dinner, we had some beer while dancing the night away. Since adjacent to our table is a disco stage, we made use of their disco music and danced intensely.
As the sky grew darker and everyone got tired of dancing, we ended the night by setting up a beach mat for everyone to sit in and just talk about anything and everything under the moon.
The next morning, we had a simple breakfast by the beach- the last meal before we pack our things and go home. I had rice, scrambled egg, and sausage with a cup of brewed coffee.
Although it was a short trip, what i enjoyed most is the 3 hour travel where i can see green sceneries and the sound of waves.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
Love, Jane
