Lapyahan Sa San Remigio, San Remigio, Northern Cebu, Philippines
Has anyone else here burnt out from one’s stressful jobs plus the busy Holiday season? We all took a pause and enjoyed a day at the beach. Today we chose to take a dip at Lapyahan Sa San Remigio beach which is located in San Remigio, a town northern Bogo City, Cebu, Philippines.
The beachfront is free of admission and is open to all visitors both local and international.
FOOD STALLS EVERYWHERE
Here in Lapyahan sa San Remigio, there are a lot of food stalls that sells a variety of snacks and drinks. You have nothing to worry if you did not bring any food because there are a lot available within the area. There is also a barbeque station available.
CENTER STAGE
When there are programs and concerts here in Lapyahan Sa San Remigio, it is held here in their center stage and it has a huge ground for the audience. It is the perfect place for a concert where you can feel the sea breeze and hear the sound of the waves.
TREES EVERYWHERE
If you are like this man who is fond of being in a hammock, you can definitely bring one because there are a lot of trees around the place and you can just hang your hammocks. Indeed a perfect way to relax. I am not a fan of that though because I easily get dizzy when I am in a hammock.
GRILLING STATION
If you want to grill some food, you’ll just need to bring some charcoal because the screen for grilling and the kitchen tongs are already here which you can use for free. It is very convenient indeed.
PERFECT FOR FAMILY BONDINGS
One of the best things about this place is that there's no admission fee, and you can also rent cottages and tables if you'd like. It's an ideal spot for beach getaways with large families or those with extended family members. You can bring as many people as you want, including your dogs, without any extra charge. If you choose to rent a cottage or table, that's the only cost you'll have, but if you're only paying for admission, it's completely free. This makes it a very budget-friendly destination that's perfect for big families.
MORE AND MORE FOOD STALLS
If you're looking to unwind and take in the coastal scenery without taking a dip in the water, this is the perfect spot for you. Along with the serene view, you can also grab some quick bites like fries, tempura milk tea, and other snacks from the available pickups. However, the food stalls will only open in the afternoon, so plan accordingly. Some food stores were already up and running, while others were yet to start their operations.
COTTAGES FOR RENT AT LAPYAHAN SA SAN REMIGIO
This is what the cottage for rent in the area looks like. I am not sure how much it is because I was not able to ask how much it is. Still, if you're planning to rent here, you should perhaps bring a budget of a maximum of 500 pesos for the cottage. Because I heard the local government unit of San Remigio owns these cottages, so therefore, the rent would not be that much. So just to make sure, bring at least 500 pesos for the cottage when we went here, we only borrowed the tables and chairs, and when we came here, it was their Christmas party. I don't know if it's just because of the Christmas season. They did not allow us to pay, so we borrowed the tables and chairs for free.

We brought marinated chicken and some fish that we grilled at the designated grilling area. Who else loves to eat grilled foods when in the beach?
Lunch time! We did it the BOODLE way.
BOODLE is when you eat your food placed on a banana leaf and not using any utensils. You eat your food using your hands. Just make sure it is clean. Lol.
I went to the beach with my family and close friends. We all were having a stressful time and want to relax for a bit. Nothing compares to the relaxation the beach gives us.
Golden Hour
San Remigio is known for it's crystal clear water and fine sand. One thing I love about the place is that it is totally free of admission. You can really hang out here for free it is best when you are on a tight budget and want to squeeze in going to the beach. You’ll just have to worry for your foods to bring. But also, there are a lot of food stalls in the area.
The sunset here is also mind-blowing. You will really enjoy the Golden hour as you hangout with friends and loved ones. We are definitely coming back here again soon. Ciao!☺︎♡
