Picture this, you got up at 4.45 am to go on a nature hike and climb to the highest point on the island. There are family and friends and you have fun climbing... It distracts from the fact that even though this is your 6th time on the mountain you kinda struggle this time... But the fun must go on, you reach the top... You snap your pictures, have your breakfast and climb back down. Sounds like a highlight already right? I know but bare with me!
After you get down and you sit in the nature park to rest and reflect on the adventure. A plan is set in motion... "where are we going?"
"let's go to Grote Knip (a famous beach in Curacao) to cool off"...
So you get in car and drive for about 15 min to get to your next destination.
Now normally you would go right down to the beach... But no, this time you're waiting for a scheduled call about a potential project (cause entrepreneurial life doesn't stop!). So you tell the group to go ahead and you take a seat on a bench.... But not a normal bench, no no!
This is a bench on a cliff overlooking the beach and the clear blue ocean....
And that's not all, it's 11 am so it's hot.. But you're so cool at this point... Because you know what? You're in the shade 😃😃😃.
So you decide to really make the moment work and you take off your slippers, use it as a pillow and you lay down on the bench...wind blowing, birds chirping, ocean sounds and... this view.....
So this is my first engage the weekend post.
