The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live.

Happy Friday, I hope you all have a great Christmas weekend ahead. Here's a few suggestions for something to write about over the weekend if you have time, see below for the options, write your post in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES Community and follow the guidelines below.

The guidelines

🎄 🎄 🎄

☑️ Use #weekend-engagement as the first tag so I can find your entry
☑️ Post in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community (no cross-posting)
☑️ Use photos you took where possible (it shows character and personality)
☑️ Follow all the community rules - Post in ENGLISH only (not multi-language)
☑️ Entries close at 06:30 UTC Monday 26 December (Link to UTC converter)

The topics

Don't write lengthy summaries of my questions to use up the word count - just write your post in answer to the question you choose to respond to.

🎄 🎄 🎄

Christmas weekend food and drinks

What food and drinks have you got planned for Christmas Eve or Day? If you have a special recipe feel free to tell/show us or just tell us about your table-setting and overall food and drinks plans. Make sure you use photos you took yourself in this post.

Christmas lunch or dinner invites

You can invite only three people (anyone at all other than your own family members) to your house for Christmas day lunch, who are they and why? Explain in at least 300 words.

The solitary Christmas gift

If you could gift only one thing to only one person, who would it be, what's the gift, and why? (Your family are excluded from this answer). This gift doesn't have to be something you buy - it could be something you make, or even something other than a physical gift. Write at least 300 words in your post.

What didn't you want for Christmas

Sometimes we get gifts we don't like or want. Tell us about one such gift, what it was, who gave it to you and what you did with it. Your post must be at least 300 words in answer.

Are you the Christmas grinch

Some people don't like Christmas - if that's you please tell us about it. Why do you dislike Christmas and what do you do on the day instead of enjoying the festivities, food, drinks and good company? Your post must be at least 300 words.

🎄 🎄 🎄

If you haven't read and complied with the guidelines I suggest you do or your post will be ignored.

Curation may happen, but only on quality original content that meets the concept guidelines above, and the community rules. This is a chance to showcase yourself to the community and to find and build new relationships.
