You know weekends are breaks from Weekdays when we can actually do whatever we want. so we actually try to make the best out of every weekend cos weekdays are always boring tons of works and lectures, that we miss the weekend already on Mondays.

We don’t actually get enough of the weekend, do we ?? Well some do depending on how you spend it, like I did with my hostel friends.
I always say hanging out is exciting but hanging out with friends or family is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!🤩 long word right? that signifies how big the excitement is.
It was a sunny ☀️ Saturday just like everyday in Navrongo the hottest place in Ghana 🇬🇭 but it was a weekend so we could do whatever we like, I and almost everyone in our hostel decided to go to the pool to cool of a bit. There are three places we often go to swim ; Fast Link , Grace Land and New chapter lodge that’s the three pool places near Navrongo. we decided to go to fast link on that day because it’s nicest amongst the three but they didn’t sell food there. We already had everything planned from the time we’ll leave our hostel, our means of transportation because the pool is far from where we stay and how much each person had to contribute.
Our hostel “Domeabra hostel” a twi world which means (if you love me, come), is very far from our campus so the Domeabra is to mean that if you love me the distant wouldn’t matter, for that reason out hostel is mostly full of boys and there are only two girls in our hostel, they decided they wouldn’t go so it was an all boys thing , so we all prepared before time we didn’t have to wait on someone contemplating on which outfit to wear or which make up will suit the outfit.lol 😂 , you’ll get what I’m saying if you’re ever going to an event with a lady.
As we were waiting on our transport we took pictures with our good looking outfits.
Our Transport arrived and we left for Fast link, on arrival at the place it was locked that some people had an event there so we couldn’t use the pool. You know that feeling when your plan A fails and you have to go with plan B😢😔, it’s Plan B for a reason we stood there for a while and then we decided to go to New chapter lodge our Plan B.
When we got there , there were some of our friends from campus there, the atmosphere was exciting more than we expected. We changed quickly into our swimming dresses some got the life vest it was a few so we all couldn’t get and we got into the pool.
I’m not good at swimming but by friend @depressedfuckup had been teaching me, so I could do a little bit, the deepest was 9ft and there was 4ft up to 9ft, those who were expert in swimming were in the 9ft and I was a bit scared still so I was like “ain’t no way I’m going to 9ft, I’ll rather hang around the amateurs. I was around 6ft doing my thing.
It was all fun you could tell from the smiles 😊😁, there was music loud music that we danced and sang to.
I was able to exhibit some of the swimming skills I learnt, but I must admit I drank had of the water 😂.We stayed there like we were never going home it was getting dark then we called our transport moved to our hostel.
That is how you spend a weekend.
