My new friends from Texas invited me to a bring and share dinner last night, Friday evening.
It was a superb night with 13 guests. Karen and David live in a beautiful apartment with an amazing swimming pool in the complex.
Next to me Thalia, Theresa, Rebecca, Antje and Amanda
Seven women sat inside - Karen was in the kitchen and I, unfortunately, didn't get a picture of her.

There were 2 greek salads, baked potatoes and baby marrows
Olives, tarama, tzadziki and fresh homemade bread
A variety of sausages, chicken and pork
It was really a superb evening - thank you Karen and David for hosting this event.
Then today I met up with some of the folk on the South African group.

My weekend was filled with meeting some new friends and connecting with some old friends.
Afterwards, I organised a takeaway hamburger for my son and takeaway fish and chips for my daughter as they are busy packing for their move to Protaras.
They were so appreciative as packing is exhausting - as we all know.
Les sent me home with a box of items for my kitchen that she wasn't taking with her and we have a couple of boxes for Karen to take to the charity shop where she volunteers.
