Protecting the natural resources is hard but you have to do it.

We will never finish talking about nature because we are nature lovers of all time. Sometimes we express our love and affection for nature spectacularly but at the same time, we sometimes appear as giants who destroy nature. Yet we know that human life is very dependent on nature and natural resources. Natural resources in question are such as water, air, land, energy. Some of these resources are replaceable but some are non-replaceable. When our nature is disturbed or the energy we need becomes scarce or hard to come by, what will we do?

In this world, humans are the only community that can actively play a role in maintaining and caring for the universe's resources so that they can remain available for our children and grandchildren. However, the role of animals and plants also plays a role in maintaining the natural cycle. Humans are certainly different because they are given the advantages and abilities of the brain and heart to make efforts to protect these natural resources better than other people.

In general, all components and community elements actually are interconnected and influence one another. When something or someone becomes sick, damaged, or affected by a disaster, the whole world actually will feel (bear the consequences). Because all the contents of this world are God's creatures unless you dare to say that you are God. Therefore, as beings who have reason, heart and productive abilities, let us try to protect, care for, and even preserve natural resources now and in the future.

In the modern world, the problems that often occur are the lack of availability of clean and healthy water sources, clean and healthy air sources, clean and comfortable soil, available energy, neatly organized waste, and the attitude of each human being to maintain the universe. These things are interconnected and influence each other. With facts like that, then where do we start to improve the source of the universe that is the means of our life? What can we do to preserve nature?

A wise man once said "Start a good change from yourself",**

Yup, this is absolutely true. Of course, all our aspirations and desires to be friendly with natural resources and take care of them must start personally. Likewise, in the household environment, as self-consciousness that is well developed to protect the environment, we can start to get used to it from an early age to do the following things, such as turning off electricity when not in use; always checking the room and lights, air conditioning, TV that is no longer needed to be turned off, turn off the water faucet and use water as needed, choose a medium-sized dipper, wash clothes at once, throw away water that can be used to water plants too. Or the water is used to clean the terrace, clean the bathroom (not just thrown away).

In a larger environment such as in the community, we can clean garbage, sewers, and dispose of garbage in its place or planting and caring for trees, also plants as a source of oxygen and use environmentally friendly and energy-efficient vehicles; use a bicycle, motorcycle or car as a battery power source; and share public transportation.

Other actions are such as creating a movement to care for the environment with other communities; as well as the movement to clean rivers and clean water sources, gardens and beautiful plants, roads and sidewalks are neat and shady. Some of these efforts are certainly still lacking, but I think this is a simple thing that we can start, big changes that arise because there are small changes, sustainable and have good management.

So first, let's try to do something to protect this natural resource so that we are not ashamed to leave the damaged natural resource for generations after us.
