Rejection. I can live with that...

This is my kitty Aurora, here she is on top of some clothes I was going to keep. She is in a pose of indifference, before my affectionate voices and cuddles, ha, ha, ha, ha; in this case what I do is that I smile and I still take the picture. But when I have had the occasion when I have had to face some kind of rejection from someone, first I evaluate the reason for it, if it has a justified cause, what I do is that I walk away and wait for the waters to calm down, and then talk and fix what can be solved.

When it has been a surprise rejection without any cause on my part, I simply walk away and wait for the person to come and give me an explanation. If the person is of interest to me, I wait a reasonable time and try to engage in conversation to find out what happened. If the rejection persists, without any explanation, I simply walk away. If it is a rejection from someone I do not know, it also depends on what is behind that rejection, because if it is to get something that interests me, such as a medical appointment or something that interests me, then I insist to achieve my purpose and look for other alternatives if possible.

In conclusion, in many occasions rejection has urged me to persevere and insist to achieve my goals or purposes in many aspects of my life; in others, it has taught me that we are not gold coins to be liked by everyone, ha, ha, ha, ha and that is part of life. I can live with that.

This is my participation in Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 194. It was a pleasure to share with you, best regards!
