Weekend Experience | A Journey Through Creativity

Hello everyone, how are you all doing. I hope your weekend is going well.

I'm so excited to be here again on weekends experience to share with us one of the beautiful question asked by @galenkp of weekend experience.

My favorite job I've done so far is carpentry work. I know everyone will be wondering why carpentry works? My Father was a carpenter from a village in Nigeria, a very good carpenter and I learned carpentry work from my father at a young age. During this period, I was schooling and also learning carpentry work with my father. I fell in love with the Job, and I always looked forward to learned more from him during the holidays period and after school.

Nonetheless, there is nothing that gives me joy and happiness than hearing the sound of hammering. Although most people hate the sound of hammering or construction sounds but as for me, the sound of hammering is like a music to me. Below is one of the pictures of me doing the carpentry work, I felt very satisfied and comfortable whenever I work on this field.

Well, I studied biochemistry, graduated with good results and secured myself a teaching job a few weeks after graduating but I still had to leave the job some months after I secured the job to go back into carpentry job. Below is the picture of my first work, when I stopped teaching job. The work was did along side with my father and my siblings. I love working along with my family.

Although, carpentry work isn't easy work, it is a hard work. But there are some few things that I found so fascinated about the work which made me to fall in love with the job. As a carpenter, I have the ability to turned raw material such as wood into something beautiful, and the ability to express myself in terms of creativity. I always feel appreciated after a successful work is done.

I'll be stopping here with a quote by Mary Lauretta which says "To be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work."

Thanks for your time on my blog!.

Have a blessed weekend.
