Something rather strange happened today - we had a visit from a DVSA MOT inspector.
DVSA = Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency They are in charge of keeping the roads safe, which includes checking that MOT testing stations are doing their jobs properly.
The inspector told us that someone had given them intelligence that the brake lines on Lady Dorothy were corroded, which means - if true - it has not been picked up on the MOT from six weeks ago.
And so, she will be going in for a complete MOT check later this month - they have booked an entire garage and will bring their own team in to complete the inspection, and Lady Dorothy will be checked from top to tail...this process could end up taking hours (with lots of pictures if necessary)
