The original Mini had so many brand names, with the last being ROVER
The brand included

  • Austin
  • Morris
  • Leyland
To be honest the list goes on ... and ... on.

I won't go into any more detail on the mini, because there are 1000's upon 1000's posts all over the internet on them, and the whole thing is a bit mind-bending to me for me.

How Much Did Mike Pay?
Mike had a budget of @1000 to fix this car up, and the mini only cost him £300, which is a bargain.

What work did the car need?

  • Repair all the rust
  • Replace A Frame
  • Full Body respray
  • Replaced the Chrome
  • Replaced the boot
  • Replaced door mirrors
  • Repaint the engine
  • Replace HT leads
It ended up costing them £700 to do all of this, which made them go over budget by £100.

How much did Mike sell it for?
To be honest, they didn't make much on this car. They sold it for £1300, which means they only made £200.

How much are they with now??
This is a hard one to answer. There are so many different models and specs, and most of them are the later ones. One thing I know thou is, the old mk1 minis are quite rare, and can easily reach over £20,000

Crazy isn't it...
