In today’s post I’ll show you some vintage Mercedes cars.
Mercedes-Benz - 300c
This unique car was manufactured in the 1955 - 66 years ago. There were only 51 designed and manufactured from this model. The idea of the Deutschland automobile factory was to build a cabriolet, which was meant to be for aristocrats, just like Tito, the Yugoslav revolutionary. He was using Mercedes-Benz 300c Cabriolet D.
While being there we’ve heard a really interesting story about Tito.
“During his rising period, he was the only person who has a TV in the whole country. Every morning, every afternoon and every evening, while the news took place on the screen, the journalist were wishing Tito - “Good morning!”, “Good afternoon” and “Good night”, because he was their leader and the only person who was watching the news.” 📰
Mercedes-Benz W114
This car is a unique one. Only from first sight you can fall in love with her. It was manufactured between 1968 and 1976. It’s right behind the C class of Mercedes, but still a very aristocratic car. This one exactly is from 1974 and was used from the Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito, during his presidential days.
This model is the long automatic version. Here you can see the Serbian flags on both sides of the car, as she was used for ceremonies. You can see the registration plate of the car is: BG 02-06.
BG comes from Belgrade.
