DBuzz Microblogging Beats LeoFinance in Most Engagement Metrics + More HIVE Front End Statistics

Sometimes things about HIVE blockchain can be quite surprising. I have been with both @dbuzz and @leofinance since the beginning. I used @peakd for a long time and recently I started using and enjoying @ecency desktop application. I have had great experiences with all of of them. I even occasionally use https://hive.blog

We are all in this together and we are all part of the same blockchain. I believe in supporting as many projects as possible as long as they are bringing real value to HIVE. I'm proud to be a part of all these communities and many more. Three weeks ago, I wrote about "The Biggest Unsung SEO Contribution" to LeoFinance where a simple @threespeak video with the right keywords directing a great deal of traffic to the website. I like these happy surprises. When you you peel under the curtain and look at the statistics, some details show up with a bang and flips the commonly held beliefs.

Insane Engagement Statistics From DBuzz

When I made the above mentioned statistics/analysis three weeks ago, @good-karma showed up to bring the great news that @ecency reached #730 Alexa Rank in Venezuela. I wasn't expecting numbers as phenomenal as this (for a niche DAPP), but we have made it here.

This time I didn't want to leave out anyone and decided to dig into everyone. Before we get into more statistics, this is how Alexa Ranks have improved for 5 front ends during the last 90 days.

  • DBuzz - 1.12 Million
  • Ecency - 614K
  • LeoFinance - 471K
  • Peakd - 8.68K
  • HIVE Blog - 3.31K

Venezuela is Our True Hero

One thing you will repeatedly see is how huge cryptocurrency and HIVE front ends are doing in Venezuela. The smart people there are doing their best to keep the country from becoming a Cuba or an Africa. If you can support people coming from Venezuela and try to spread the word about HIVE, we can expect great results. Without further ado, the statistics you have been waiting for:

They All Have Their Strengths

The power of decentralization is that we don't have one size fits all solutions and everyone can work on what matches them and everyone can improve in their own way. There is no such thing as a society just as there is no such things as a forest. Take care of each individual tree and let them prosper; you will have your magnificent forest.

  • Peakd & HIVE Blog as general interfaces have been the strongest
  • They have both captured the US audience well
  • Ecency has been an absolute beast in Venezuela and has even gained interest from Russia
  • Being a solid mobile/desktop app that is very light on data usage should have helped significantly
  • LeoFinance has spread itself well and captured a lot of interest from Mexico
  • LeoFinance #Spanish tag can be a very prudent pursuit
  • DBuzz has been the plot twist of the entire analysis @chrisrice @jacuzzi @nathansenn should be proud about what you guys (and any other contributors) have managed to accomplish!

Learn From Each Other

@khaleelkazi can expect world class results from microblogging on LeoFinance if these statistics are anything to go by. I wish @dapplr was doing well. Unfortunately they didn't get enough support from DHF. uckily @ecency has their proposal funded and we have DHF support for at least one mobile version (which is going to be very important at mass onboarding).

Best method is each project focusing and specific areas and trying to complement each other. I encourage everyone to try out different front ends and show them support. Whichever wins, HIVE wins. With more users on HIVE, each platforms gets more users and better metrics. It's cycle that repeats.
