Was sagt ihr zum Börsengang von Coinbase? Habt ihr investiert oder denkt ihr, es ist besser direkt in Kryptos zu investieren?
Ich denke, dass Coinbase eine coole Kryptobörse ist, die viel Pionierarbeit geleistet hat und auch sehr beliebt und erfolgreich ist. Wer kennt das "Earn Free Crypto"-Programm von Coinbase nicht?
COIN ist sicherlich eine interessante Aktie, dessen Kurs aber stark von der Entwicklung des Kryptomarkts abhängen wird.
Steuerlich ist es in Österreich derzeit besser direkt in Kryptos zu investieren als in einen Krypto-ETF (ETP auf der Wiener Börse) oder eine Krypto/Mining-Aktie, da Kryptos nach einem Jahr steuerfrei sind, während man für Aktien unabhängig von deren Haltedauer Gewinnsteuern zahlen muss.
Jedenfalls ist der Börsengang von Coinbase ein riesiger Meilenstein für Krypto, was wiederum gut für Bitcoin & Co. ist, da es viel Aufmerksamkeit auch auf traditionellen Märkten schafft und Kryptos generell dadurch weiter Legitimität verleiht.
Was haltet ihr von Coinbase? Würde auch die Meinung unseres Aktienprofis @hatoto dazu interessieren. Wie wird sich der Preis von COIN entwickeln?

What do you think about Coinbase's IPO? Did you invest or do you think it's better to invest directly in cryptos?
I think Coinbase is a cool crypto exchange, that has done a lot of pioneering work and is also very popular and successful. Who doesn't know about Coinbase's "Earn Free Crypto" program?
COIN is certainly an interesting stock, but its price will depend heavily on the crypto market in my opinion.
From a tax point of view, it is currently better to invest directly in cryptos in Austria (Europe) than in a crypto ETF (ETP on the Vienna Stock Exchange) or a crypto/mining stock, as cryptos are tax-free after one year in Austria, while you have to pay captial gain taxes for stocks regardless of the hodling period.
In any case, Coinbase's IPO is a huge milestone for crypto, which in turn is good for Bitcoin as it creates a lot of attention also on traditional markets and gives cryptos in general further legitimacy.
