Geheime Nachricht im Bitcoin-Block #686604 🥇 Leute, das ist mega 🤩
In alter Bitcoin-Tradition gab es wieder eine geheime Nachricht in einem Bitcoin-Block.
SlushPool hat am 7. Juni 2021 den Block mit der Nummer 686604 geschürft und darin eine historische Schlagzeile der Tageszeitung "Diario El Salvador" in die Coinbase-Transaktion versteckt:

El Salvador ist das erste Land der Welt, das Bitcoin als offizielles Zahlungsmittel anerkennt.
Das ist ein riesiger Meilenstein für Bitcoin.
12 Jahre nach dem Launch von Bitcoin erkennt damit der Präsident von El Salvador, Bukele Ortez, als erster Staat der Erde Bitcoin als Währung und offizielles Zahlungsmittel an.
Ich kann mich noch an die unzähligen üblen Angriffe der Massenmedien und Notenbanker erinnern, die jedes Mal selbstgefällig betont haben, dass Bitcoin keine Währung sei. Haarspalterei.
Jetzt ist Bitcoin offiziell eine Währung!
El Salvador ist ein kleines Land in Zentralamerika mit circa 6,5 Millionen Einwohnern ohne eigene Währung und in Abhängigkeit des US-Dollars ohne den Vorteil, selbst Geld drucken zu können.
Viele El Salvadorianer haben nicht einmal ein Konto, und sind auf teure Geldüberweisungen aus dem Ausland angewiesen.
Das könnte sich jetzt mit Bitcoin und einer Smartphone-Wallet von Strike.me ändern. Technisch wird das Ganze über eine benutzerfreundliche Lightning-basierte Wallet von Strike.me umgesetzt und ist damit die erste große Nagelprobe für das Lightning-Netzwerk.
Strike.me verspricht sogar keine Gebühren zu verrechnen.
Denke, dass El Salvador mit Strike.me eigene Lightning-Nodes betreiben wird, die untereinander keine oder nur sehr geringe Fees verrechnen werden.
Das ist technisch mega spannend zu verfolgen, wie sich das weiterentwickeln wird.

Secret message in Bitcoin block #686604 🥇 Guys, this is huge 🤩
In old Bitcoin tradition there was another secret message included in a recent block of Bitcoin.
SlushPool mined block number 686604 on June 7th, 2021 and hid a historical headline from the local newspaper "Diario El Salvador" in its Coinbase transaction:

El Salvador is the first country in the world to recognize Bitcoin as legal tender.
This is a huge milestone for Bitcoin.
12 years after the launch of Bitcoin, the president of El Salvador, Bukele Ortez, is the first state on Earth to recognize Bitcoin as a currency and official means of payment.
I can still remember the countless nasty attacks by the mass media and central bankers, each time smugly insisting that Bitcoin is not a currency. Splitting hairs.
Now Bitcoin is officially a currency!
El Salvador is a small country in Central America with a population of about 6.5 million without its own currency and dependent on the U.S. dollar without the benefit of being able to print money.
Many El Salvadorans do not even have a bank account, and rely on expensive money transfers from abroad.
That could change with Bitcoin and a smartphone wallet from Strike.me. Technically, the adoption of Bitcoin is implemented via a user-friendly Lightning-based wallet from Strike.me, making it the first major litmus test for the Lightning network.
Strike.me even promises to charge no fees.
Think El Salvador will use Strike.me to run their own Lightning nodes that will charge no or very low fees.
This is technically super exciting to follow how it plays out.
