Digitale Kunst erlebt gerade dank NFTs und Blockchain-Technologie ihren iPhone/App-Store-Moment.
Es ist erstmals möglich, digitale Kunst in einer beschränkten Auflage digital zu verkaufen, was bis jetzt eher umständlich mit Echtheitszertifikaten und gedruckten Fotos/Bildern gegangen ist.
Das erklärten gestern die beiden Künstler Julia Staudach (Tschuuuly) und Bernhard Nessler (@nissla ehemals auf Steem/Hive) des Kryptokunst-Projekts CryptoWiener den Zusehern des Standards.
Gehostet wurde das Format, das diesmal seinem Rooftop-Namen gerecht wurde, wieder von den Stadler Völker Rechtsanwälten, die sich auf Blockchain-Recht spezialisiert haben.
Nissla und Julia haben auch gut gegen das Totschlagargument des Energieverbrauchs gekontert. Erstens sind nicht alle Blockchains Proof of Work basiert und Ethereum arbeitet bereits an der Umstellung von Proof of Work auf Proof of Stake, das den Energieverbrauch drastisch reduzieren wird.
NFTs können auch bereits jetzt auf der Hive Blockchain energieeffizient gemintet werden.
Bitcoin und Ethereum investieren auch Milliarden in erneuerbare Energie und incentivieren mit ihrem spieltheoretischen Ansatz die Energieerzeugung zu optimieren.
Um den Energieverbrauch richtig einordnen zu können, müsse man aber auch wissen, wie viel das traditionelle Geldsystem oder das Internet an Energie verbrauchen.
In Zukunft werden NFTs auch an kommerzielle Nutzungsrechte (Lizenzen) gekoppelt werden. Derzeit so erklärt Nissla, gehe dies auf Ethereum nur mit Absprache der Künstler, wenn diese in der Beschreibung des NFT die Nutzungsrechte mitübertragen.
Das muss aber meiner Meinung nach in Zukunft besser gelöst werden und die Lizenzinformation muss direkt in das NFT als Eigenschaft/Merkmal übernommen werden, so wie das zum Beispiel @nftshowroom als erste Plattform gemacht hat.
CryptoWiener ist ein Kunstprojekt aus Wien im CryptoPunks-Stil, das Wiener als Pixelart-NFT darstellt und einen witzigen Spruch auf Wienerisch enthält. Das solltet ihr euch mal anschauen.
Wie hat euch die Diskussionsrunde gefallen? Hoffe, dass jetzt auch mehr Leute außerhalb der Krypto-Community NFTs verstehen und nicht sofort ablehnen, weil es neu ist.

Digital art is having its iPhone/app store moment thanks to NFTs and blockchain technology.
For the first time, it is possible to sell digital art digitally in limited editions, which until now has been rather cumbersome with printed certificates of authenticity and printed photos/images.
This is what the two artists Julia Staudach (Tschuuuly) and Bernhard Nessler (@nissla formerly on Steem/Hive) of the crypto art project CryptoWiener explained to the audience of the Austrian newspaper DerStandard yesterday.
The format, which this time lived up to its rooftop name, was again hosted by Stadler Völker Lawyers, who specialize in blockchain law.
Nissla and Julia also countered well against the killer argument of energy consumption. First, not all blockchains are Proof of Work based and Ethereum is already working on moving from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake, which will drastically reduce its energy consumption.
NFTs can also already be minted on the Hive Blockchain in an energy-efficient manner.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are also investing billions in renewable energy each year and incentivize energy optimizations by their game-theoretic nature.
Additionally, Nissla noted that in order to properly assess the energy expenditure, one must also know how much the traditional monetary system or the Internet consumes in energy.
In the future, NFTs will also be linked to commercial usage rights. Currently, Nissla explains, this is possible on Ethereum only with the agreement of the artists, if they verbally transfer the usage rights in the description of the NFT.
However, in my opinion, this must be solved better in the future and the license information must be included directly as a native property/feature of the NFT, as @nftshowroom, for example, has done as the first platform.
CryptoWiener is an art project from Vienna resembling the CryptoPunks style and depicts people from Vienna as pixelart NFTs. Each NFT also includes a funny saying/quote in a dialect of Vienna. Check out their website.
