I got a participant in the Hive Social Experiment game by @geekgirl and am a member in Team 3 comprising of the following five team members:

The goal of the game is to find the private active key of the account @hivegiftcard3 which holds 50 HBD. Each member got only a 10 character long part of the key, which we have to combine in order to find the key to the account.
This post is to make some proposals to our team and to coordinate it in a transparent on-chain manner.
Proposal #1:
Let's communicate primarily on-chain so that other Hiveians can follow our progress and to make everything transparent so that nobody can cheat.
The other teams won't have an advantage if we coordinate on-chain because we are not competing with the other teams.
Proposal #2:
Let's work together to find the key. There are 120 combinations we have to try, but if we split the work among our team, every member has to try only 24 combinations.
If all agree we could send each other our own part of the key via an encrypted memo message.
Then every team member tries the key permutations starting with their own part of the key, permutating the other parts of the key in the following way, where A is your own part of the key, and B C D E are the parts of the other members.

The alternative to working together and to trust everybody, would be to choose a trustworthy delegate who gets all the parts of key and tries all 120 combinations, but I think it's more fun if we work together and split up the work.
Proposal #3
Let's use the doubling rule to double the prize by sending the HBD to @geekgirl when we find the key. Or alternatively vote for Proposal #4:

Let's divide the prize equally among all members. (10 HBD each)
Proposal #5
The member who finds the key first, sends the key to all other members by an encrypted memo. Updated proposal: The member who finds the key first, informs the other players, splits the reward according to Proposal #4 and sends 10 HBD to each member.

Next step is to send each other (except @tattoodjay because he delegated the work to @wrestlingdesires) your part of the key, ideally in an encrypted memo. Then test your 24 combinations starting with your key part like outlined in Proposal #2. Don't share the unencrypted key publicly. In order to encrypt the memo, start the memo with a # character.
