Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp sind gestern 6 Stunden ausgefallen, FB-Aktie hat 5% verloren, alle möglichen Verschwörungstheorien sind online kursiert.
Es gab Gerüchte, dass Facebook gehackt worden ist, aber bis jetzt hat sich das nicht bestätigt.
Offiziell wird der Ausfall als "Konfigurationsfehler" begründet.
Zunächst war der DNS-Eintrag von facebook.com nicht mehr erreichbar, was schon seltsam ist.
Dann gab es eine Meldung, dass Facebook-Mitarbeiter nicht mehr in das Gebäude gehen konnten, anscheinend gab es auch eine Panne bei einem Zutrittssystem, was weiteren Stoff für Verschwörungstheorien bot.

Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp were down for 6 hours yesterday, FB stock lost 5%, all sorts of conspiracy theories circulated online.
There were rumors that Facebook has been hacked, but so far it has not been confirmed.
Officially, the outage is explained as a "configuration error".
First, the DNS entry of facebook.com disappeared, which is strange.
Then there was a report that Facebook employees could no longer enter the building, apparently there was also a glitch with an access system, which provided further material for conspiracy theories.
