Nothing will make you a minimalist quite like losing it all in a hurricane, lol. That’s what happened with me. Then I ended up living van life for 4 years so you learn to live on less. My thing was every purpose had to have multiple uses. Even now that I am on the homestead, I am only collecting things that work for me like 3D printers and other tools.
