Kraken Exchange gains VASP status in Holland
The rules are getting tougher for exchanges to operate in the crypto world in certain countries.
Regulation has increased, in theory to protect consumers or the public like you and I.
On February 8th Kraken Exchange announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) their new VASP registration from the Dutch Central Banck (DNB).
It had recently been revealed that 20% of the European crypto owners are Dutch so this is big news to serve in theory 20% of the European crypto market.
VASP is the term on crypto standing for Virtual Assets Service Providers and are the bridge between different assets from different blockchains and fiat

Well that is not entirely true.
Alphabet's Google has officially rebranded its Bard artificial intelligence chatbot into Gemini. It has been named after Google's most powerful AI model powering the tool.
At the same time Google rolled out their mobile app for Android and iOS devices in the United States now available in over 40 languages, with a promise to make it available in more locations and languages soon.
Gemini's app launch also comes with a subscription plan for a premium version of the tool called Gemini Advanced.
It seems subscription or premium services are the way to go for various entities.
