WOO currently has three NFTs representing its first three partners, Perry Saturn, Raven, and Sonny Onoo. Each of these partners is now part of a pool that shares a portion of the revenue from WOO sale events. Not only that, they also receive the transaction fees whenever their NFTs are traded in the open market.
And aside from Terri Runnels and Ernest "The Cat" Miller, another upcoming WOO partnership was announced on Twitter in the past few days.
Sabu (Terrance Michael Brunk) is the latest wrestling personality who has joined the WOO partners roster. Sabu is a pioneer of hardcore wrestling and a three-time World Heavy Champion. He is most remembered for his career in ECW and is still actively participating in some wrestling events.
For the longest time, wrestling personalities such as Sabu were treated as independent contractors which means that they pay for their own expenses and do not have medical insurance and retirement benefits. This places them in a bad spot since wrestling takes a heavy toll on their body especially when they retire.
