Hive Engagement Investment - Best ROI in "Cash & Kind"

Hive Users always looks Hive Blockchain as a direct source of income generation through content creation. They always focus on content making hoping to get some direct rewards. But in process they forget that mere putting a content link doesnt generate rewards unless and untill you were active in the Blockchain.

A common user on Hive need to make the presence known through engagement. (Unless they have a good whale support or back up) Engagement, allows users to interact with others and allow themselves to be familiar with different users/authors.

My 3 years of experince says that, Hive has many alternate source of income. While Curation is one of the most favored one after Content, users tend to forget the importance of Engagement. Instead of looking around for rewards through Content or Curation, they must set the sight to Engagement, as it is an easy way of generating passive income, that allow users with dual benefit of earning Cash (in upvotes) or in Kind (follower generation).

Rewards in Cash

Experince speaks a lot, and this observation does have some great year of exposure into Steem/Hive blockchain. If I look back, My first big rewards on Steem* came from comments. It was an @adsactly post where I commented. It was my starting day, so I was not much aware of the reward through comments. But after 7th day of the post I.e post payout, my Steem wallet was credited with somewhere around $8 of Steem/SBD. This took me by surprise and I understood the benefits of commenting. There after I get regular with commenting and content, which generated enough balance for curation.

It is not wrong to say my biggest investment was the commenting and content, which open us a new gateway of curation.

Rewards in Kind.

In Accounts, 'Kind" is used to refer something which is not in monetary term. And rightly so, I did generated good rewards in "KIND" on Hive. The 2.5k followers speaks up my return on hive engagement. Not only the followers engagement does allow me to get some good appreciation and also allow me share my insights on the subject. Be it art, story, travel, food or anything of my interest. Sharing a new prospective allow authors to enhance their knowledge to.

So hive is also a platform, where one can exchange knowledge. Which can easily be done through regular engaging on the platform.

How to Engage

Sometimes, users might find it to tough to engage. Afterall, they have so many topics to choose from. The best way of my engagement process that I usually follow are :

  • Choose the topic of your niche. (Art/travel/food etc) Something that you have good grasp and that it is your area of interest.

  • Look out for the authors having similar interest , or get into the community of your interest.

  • Make yourself regular by visiting others authors post and commenting thereon.

  • Try to make the comments more engaging , by converting into more of a discussion. Which allow to enhance the knowledge through two-way conversation.

Having a meaningful comments may attracts different users to look into the comments and might it end up getting rewards from the community or from the authors in general.
