SPI-RABONA Team Challenge - still a League 3 Story

SPIRABONATEamchallange__340.jpg

Hello SPI members, LEO community, and RABONA fans,

another season in Rabona is over for the Teams that participate in our SPI-Robona Challange. Positive news, all teams defended their stay in League 3, with SPI LEO Lions FC being the most successful team achieving 4th place within the league. The other teams made it to respectable places in the middle ranks. From a financially perspective most teams run on a profit, with SPI Sharks being the most profitable team. The success of SPI LEO Lions FC was bought by contracting expensive players (Salary is almost 4x compared to other teams) which resulted in a financial loss. We see very different strategies of our participants in play here and it will be fun to watch how things will develop further.

Besides having some fun the ultimate goal of this contest is to get to break even and get the invested 100 HIVE back into the account. As responsible investors, this goal should be achieved by forming an efficiently running football team that will make it at least to League 1.

Overall Winner: Least number of seasons to break-even investment (100 HIVE) after reaching League 1.

So the first competition for the teams is to reach League 2 and League 1 with a minimal number of seasons.

Statistically, SPI LEO Lions FC is the most successful team having a winning ration of 50%. Due to the fact that this was the first season of this team, it is still a bit behind in terms of its number of fans. For this metric SPI sharks are ahead. Also in terms of investments, the teams follow different strategies. spicity and Eddie Eagles have already heavily invested in Youth Academy and other infrastructure, the other teams seem to focus on Stadium and Catering only. Dynamo Dresden has a Level 4 Training center that is giving a 20% home advantage. So far not every team has changed the 100 HIVE into RBN in order to wait for a better price. On the internal market, the price of RBN is around 0.000006 HIVE and saw a little increase over the last season.
